A RICH TREASURY OF ALL GRACES

I Found the Heart of Jesus—My Lord, My King, My Brother,
My Friend and My Good Jesus

The Month of June is traditionally dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The feast of Sacred Heart of Jesus was instituted by Pope Clement XIII in 1765.

It is significant that, one of the most popular picture liked by everyone.  The spiritual exercises themselves like the devotion to the Sacred Heart have been time and again recommended to the universal churches, by several popes and exemplified in the life of many saints.

The open heart is a receptacle of justice, generosity pouring on us torrent of mercy and grace. It has never ceased to burn with love for us, so that it can be a solace place of rest for the pious and open to be a refuge for penitents.

It is quite clear that the cult of the Sacred Heart we consider a special nature, is an excellent act of religion since it demands from us a complete surrender and consecration of our heart to the love of the Divine Redeemer.

His wounded Heart is a living sign of His constant love for us. It is equally clear that His cult and devotion mainly intends that we repay the Divine Love with our own love. Let us lean to His bosom and rest a while.

Shall we wind up the month of June by praying together:

O Most Holy Heart of Jesus, Fountain of every blessing,
We adore and Honor Thee, with a lively sorrow of our sins.

We offer Thee, this poor heart of ours, accept it we pray,
Make us humble, patient, pure and holy, Obedient to your Will.

Grant O Good Jesus, that we may live in Thee for You;
Protect us from every misfortune; Comfort us in our afflictions.

Grant us health of body and Soul; Assist us in our temporal needs;
Your blessing on all that we do and the grace of a holy death.
Amen!

Mary, Mother of the Universe, Pray for Us!

A SONG OF THANKSGIVING

God, be merciful to us and bless us;
Look on us with kindness,
So that the whole world may know your will;
So that all nations may know your salvation.

May the peoples praise you, O God;
May all the peoples praise you!

May the nations be glad and sing for joy,
Because you judge the peoples with justice
And guide every nation on earth.

May the peoples praise you, O God;
May all the peoples praise you!

The land has produced its harvest;
God, our God, has blessed us;
May all people everywhere honor Him.

GOSPEL OF ST.JOHN

Every scripture of the Holy Bible is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness. (2 Tim. 3)

Bible is the source of inspiration, instruction and guidance so, as a believer of Christ, let us put our faith and trust in the Bible--- the Most Holy Book-- treasured work for life.

It would be wise to read the Holy Bible as a daily spiritual nourishment. Reflect on the Word of God as day to day living and contact with others to live  a renewed way of life according to the varied circumstances we need to face in our challenging and changing world. Then certainly we will receive new life from our Lord.

"For the Word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double edged sword. (Heb.4:12)"

THE HEALING AT THE POOL

After this, Jesus went to Jerusalem for a religious festival. Near the Sheep Gate in Jerusalem there is a pool with five porches; in Hebrew it is called Bethzatha. A large crowd of sick people were lying the porches --- the blind, the lame and the paralyzed. A man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight years. Jesus saw him lying there, and he knew that the man had been ill for such long time; so He asked him, “Do you want to get well?”

The sick man answered, “Sir, I have no one to put me in the pool when the water is stirred up; while I am trying to get in, somebody else gets there first.”

Jesus said to him, “Get up, pick up your mat, and walk.” Immediately the man got well; he picked up his mat and started walking.

The day this happened was a Sabbath, so the Jewish authorities told the man who had been healed, “This is a Sabbath, and it is against our law for you to carry your mat.”

He answered, “The man who made me well told me to pick up my mat and walk.”

They asked him, “Who is the man who told you to do this?”

But the man who had been healed did not know who Jesus was, for there was a crowd in that place, and Jesus had slipped away.

Afterwards, Jesus found him in the Temple and said, “Listen, you are well now; so stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.”

Then the man left and told the Jewish authorities that it was Jesus  who had healed him. So they began to persecute Jesus, because He had this healing on a Sabbath.  Jesus answered them, “My Father is always working, and I too must work.”

This made the Jewish authorities all the more determined to kill Him; not only had he broken the  Sabbath law, but he had said that God was His own Father and in this way had made himself equal with God.

This is the Word of the Lord

Thanks be to Jesus Christ! Amen

FAMILY – A PLACE OF EXTREME BLISS

PART II

The Bible says, “…Therefore what God has joined together, let men not separate.”  (Matt. 19:6)

Lord Jesus loved His people and his disciples more than his own life, but for all those love what response did he receive?

His lips knew no blames; He did not take refuge in loneliness. In spite of the sorrow that even His disciples did not see Lord Jesus the way He was, He refrained deviating from His aim till the end and fulfilled all His work patiently.

The Cross of Calvary is the true measuring rod of this love. To realize the attitude with which the Lord who suffered utmost pain, we have to visualize the Cross. Similarly, if we receive the Cross of our daily life by visualizing them in the same way, then our relationships will be like the full moon, which shines even in the dark. For this we may have to ask and receive Christ’s attitude daily.

It was not for His own interest that Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself and received the Cross.

The Cross standing aloft reflects two major values
He Forgot Himself and He Sacrificed Himself

In marital relation too, the Love of Christ demands a similar attitude that man should sacrifice his interests and woman should forget her own pleasures. It is better if this is imbibed by us.

No man or woman can satisfy their life partner by giving one’s own love because everyone seeks and desires the same boundless love for themselves.
From the weak heart as big as a fist, we can offer only our weak love but great satisfaction and happiness will bloom if we daily imbibe and share the Eternal Love, which flows from the King of Love.

Love is not something that can be stolen or snatched.

When love begins to flow from undying springs, then it fails to get limited within the search for momentary happiness or desire to get anything in return.
If marital relation begins to take refuge in worldly emotions or evolves to be self oriented then these relations will turn out to be mere objects to satisfy emotions alone.
When couples begin to live freely with Godly thoughts, then all their emotional problems tend to melt and flow into nothingness.

Relationships will be strengthened when we realize that love means responsibilities that arise from mutual decisions.

Dear Ones, the hurt feelings you have inflicted on your life partner may be very deep, but don’t worry, only the sorrowful passions of our Lord Jesus can heal them. Neither person nor medicine can heal the wounds.

The path you seek and the victory we achieved may perhaps lead us to a guilty conscience with moments of downfall which are natural to human life, but what holds importance is how we handle them.

If we begin to waste our days with an attitude that the days are near, cipher and if we whisper that they are unsold, then the healing becomes impossible. There may be moments of argument and opposition in one’s life. In such moments, if you could cool down for a moment and turn to the Lord for guidance, give a thought to your responsibilities, then God will surely help you.

Personal relationship with Jesus i.e. personal prayer is essential to draw strength and hold united to deal the crisis in marital life.

The Holy Bible directs that “An excellent wife wakes up early in the morning and glorify God. Giving first priority to God is the initial responsibility of every wife.

Similarly the Holy Bible  states, “It is his practice to get up early and pray aloud to God His Creator asking the most High to forgive his sins. He prays with gratitude for his needs and increases his knowledge by reading the Word of God.” (Sirach 39:5-9)

The fact that husband and wife speak to Jesus individually everyday itself is a mighty blessing. Then the Holy Spirit will bless both of them with the required graces to sanctify their relationship, thus helping the couple to move in unity towards God. By mutually surrendering themselves, offences will be pardoned and bruises will be healed. Holy Spirit will train them with the manner to pray and to behave themselves with each other. When they together begin to seek the Will of God, the words of the Bible will be proved true:

“Whenever two of you on earth agree about anything you pray, it will be done for you by my Father in Heaven.” ( Matt 18:19)

Again the Lord says, “I will make my home with my people and live among them.” (2 Cor. 6:16)

Yes dear ones, what a mighty blessing has Father promised through our marital relation!

How then can we who neglect such blessing expect his prosperity?

God says, “Man should not separate what God has united.” We should not forget that sitting at the right side of the Father, Jesus will intercede for us and the Holy Spirit by his instruction and advices will guide us to walk on the true path.  If we co-operate with them, we will be able to turn ourselves into sacrificial offering as two candles burning in flames of true sacrifice.

He further says, “If you wish to, you will be able to obey the commandments. Whether you should be faithful or not, depends on your will.” (Sirach 15:15)

Christ will give you the strength just like Tobias and Joseph, the descendant of David, we shall also set aside all our depression and loneliness and accept our life partner from the hands of the Almighty. If you ceaselessly strive and seek help from the Lord of Hope, then you will be transformed into a cactus growing beside streams of life giving water.

By reading this message together and by casting away all the old lullabies of life, may God bless you in abundant grace to accept each other. Amen!

FAMILY – A PLACE OF EXTREME BLISS

PART I

The Bible says, “…Therefore what God has joined together, let men not separate.”  (Matt. 19:6)

Books and articles describing family life and included relationships are easily available. But those which are useful in leading these relations of love to improvement and one burning with an attitude of sacrifice, thus imparting greater depths of spirituality in Godly ways are rarely available. I pray in Christ, those who read these words may spread the fragrance of love and purity.

Dear ones in Christ ages have passed since the initial sacred marital life started. The Holy Bible teaches that “God our Father realized that it is not good for man to stay alone and so He made a most appropriate partner for him, out of his own flesh and bones that is woman.” (Gen 2:22)

Thus God the spirit of unity uprooted loneliness and put us together in his unity. Lord appointed first man and woman as husband and wife. So that by taking refuge in Christ and by being filled with God’s Love, they can there after instill that love in one’s life partner.

After filling in the relations, when the spirit of Christ begins to build unity among couples, only then life turns out to be truly harmonious, lyrical and united.
Thus, they can spread and build a wide canopy, perfect and complete this world by partaking in the work of creation. The foundation of matrimonial relationship was thus laid down. The Bible says  “Since this matter comes from the Lord, it’s not for us to speak ill or well about it." God also gave the guidance required for the successes of this relationship. (Genesis 24:50)

“God was with them.”

In the Gospel, Jesus has given an ideal example portraying of the good of these relationship. The Bible describes both the wise one who built his house by digging deep on strong rock and also the foolish one who built his house on sand. “The house built on strong rock withheld the mighty wind and storm.
But in adverse condition, the house built on sand fell flat on the ground with a loud crash.”(Luke. 6:46-49)

Jesus was not teaching us to build a house but was revealing to us the need to begin life on a strong foundation. The Holy Bible says “How happy you will be if you put it into practice.” (John 13:17)

One who desires to be victorious will surely live according to this direction. Then we will receive God’s grace which will enable us to resist all pleasures of life. Jesus Christ says “Dear children how wrong you are! It is because you don’t know the scriptures or Gods power.” (Mat.22:29)

Yes dear ones, like the unity prevailing in the blessed trinity, every couple should be united as one with the Lord.
The firmness of marital life lies in the extend of union it has with God. Where prayer is lifted up, there the marital relation too will be fixed up in love.
The Holy Bible says, “A family divided against itself falls apart.” (Luke 11:17)
It further states that the family that prays together stays together.

The Bible says in Old Testament, “Tri-chords are hard to break.” (Eccl. 4:12) These words teach us that marital relations can never be limited to two individuals alone. Through various examples, the Holy Bible clearly teaches that the strong hands and divine guidance of an unseen Holy Priest (Lord Jesus) is of utmost importance amidst them.

Lord himself says, “The maintenance of this relationship is impossible for human heart.” (Mark 10:27)  But it is very simple for your Heavenly Father, who always desires to see you in unity.

So dear ones, aren’t these words giving us supernatural hope for maintaining our marital relationship?
Through the Holy Spirit, Lord is ever ready to give us anything we ask for and even more.

Knowing the appropriate Word of God and by submitting to the will of his parents, Tobias, their only son decided to receive his life partner. He very well knew that the girl he was going to receive had been married seven times and each time, her husband died on the first night itself, but, believing she was made for him, accepted her from God’s hand.

On the wedding night, when they were alone in their chamber, Tobias told his life partner, “Come let us pray for God’s mercy.”
He further prayed, “I am receiving her not by bodily desire, but by innocent love alone. Have mercy on us; grant that we may grow old together.” Then they both said “Amen” and concluded. (Tobit 8:7-8)

The following chapter, it is mentioned that the Lord blessed them with a life of perfection in His sight.
This is an example of an ideal marital life given by our Heavenly Father.

The Lord said to Joseph, “Joseph, descendant of David, do not be afraid to take Mary to be your wife.” (Matt. 1:20)

Inspite of being believers, in order to follow this modern world we have long back trespassed God’s direction. Therefore, all the holy relations are in a pitiful state today.

Isn’t it wise to check our life once again? Is there any need for hesitation regarding the correction of our mistakes?

Many disasters have occurred in our lives because we have not accepted our life partner as he or she is and due to lack of mutual prayer.

Didn’t you wander for years together with complaint lodged on your lips?
How many times have you cursed the person who brought the proposal to you?
How many times have you repeatedly complained that ‘the cause of all your troubles was due to the carelessness on the part of your parents? Had they given a second thought to the proposal, you could have married another better person?’What all misunderstandings, so many doubts right from the day you got married?
The opponent (partner) then begins, “From the day I began my life with you…… I am left with nothing except my cries and grinding of teeth. You are in a state of numbness…What is remaining now? There will be no changes in these …….”

Lack of contentment, hatred, numbness of life etc. begin to develop and to add to all these arrives a disregard towards the Creator.

However God our Father does not desire all this from his children. He is always waiting by to see the unity and love of His children. He wishes that we take leave from these narcotics of selfishness and live free from its side effects which are rejection and loneliness.

Father says, “As Christ loved, so also you should love one another.” (John 15: 12)

(to be continued…..)

WISDOM NOTES

The Bible says, “When I was hungry, they gave me poison, when I was thirsty they gave me vinegar.” (Psalms 69:21)

Once a lady who had four children and husband, approached me in need for prayers. “I have heard that there is great power and might in prayer lead by you. Through those who have experienced it, I have heard in abundance and I desire to come and attend the same. But I am unable to complete my housework and come for the prayers. I can also not keep aside my household chores, isn’t it? Hence dear sister, please pray for the below mentioned petitions of mine.

Dear Ones in Christ, the attempt and trials to satisfy daily needs often leads us into ceaselessness and unhealthiness. How numerous are the growing needs of the mind which ceaselessly attempt to acquire the daily requirement and remain involved in this scramble? How terrible are those lonely nights? Those dark hours of rejection, bitter nights of sickness and bad traits, darkness of sinful inspiration.

The setting sun does not merely signify the turn of a day, but is a symbolic of loneliness, anxiety and sinful life.

There are many mothers who spend their entire day struggling merely for the perishable food. Their anxiety and fear mangled preparation leads them to weariness. If we share their life, then, it is merely a dam of sorrowful narration. This food becomes unenjoyable  for themselves as well as for others!

It is by realizing these thrusts of human life that Jesus Christ said;
“Do not work for food that spoils, indeed work for the food that lasts for eternal life.” (John 6:27)

The people asked Lord as to what they have to do in order to obtain this eternal bread?
Jesus Christ in turn has given a simple solution i.e. “Believe in the One sent by God.”

Question arose, ‘that our ancestors ate manna in the desert as a sign from Heaven.’ Similarly they asked Him to perform a miracle so that they may see and believe Him.

Jesus answered, “My Father gave you the real Bread from Heaven. The Bread from Heaven will impart new life to you.”

People thought that it would be wonderful to have this bread and so they asked for it. In a most powerful and clear way Jesus said to them, “I am the Bread which you desire. He who comes to Me, will never be hungry, he who believes in Me, will never be thirsty.”

As expected Lord Jesus neither had splendorous clothes, nor majestic appearance or cordon of soldiers and so they could not accept Him as a king.
They muttered and kept uttering words of mockery and began to ridicule within themselves. Knowing this Jesus Christ ascertained that, “I am not surprised by your grumbling because no one can come to Me unless the Father who sent me, draws him to Me.”

Being filled with Divine Spirit, Jesus Christ again said, “The bread that I give, so that the world may live, it’s my flesh itself. “ (John 6:51)

The above said Words of Life nearly seemed as cheating references to their closed minds.
Again Lord Jesus spoke to them the truth, “My blood shall be your drink or else you will not have life.”

Among those who heard these words, most of them abandoned Him. Among his own disciples too many of them through this belief insulted Jesus Christ. Yet Jesus Christ stood firm without any change or alteration in the existing truth.
When He saw his disciples abandoning Him, he asked His Old twelve disciples, whether they too would like to leave.
Here we observe Jesus Christ giving total freedom to the believers.

Dear Ones in Christ, Those who live for the perishable food are unable to grasp about the eternal food of life. The knowledge about eternal life or about the labor to attain that life diminishes in them.

This bread shall be that which is pleasing to the eyes, delicious to eat and which instigates the passion of life. These can never go hand in hand.
He began to speak to them about their ancestors by saying, “I shall tell you about your ancestors who were stubborn and arguing in nature and who were faltering in their faith.”

“What does he mean by all this?”

When the faithless ancestors became thirsty in the desert, they began to complain against God.
God let streams of water flow from the rocks.

When they became hungry and rebelled against God, they asked for the food they desired and thus put the Lord to test. They ridiculed Lord by asking whether He was capable of setting food for them in the barren desert.
God became furious, He commanded the heavens, and opened the doors of Heaven and showered manna for them to eat. They ate the food, liked it and came satisfied. The Lord gave them what they had desired for.

But before their desire could be controlled i.e. when the food had not even passed down their throats, Lord’s anger rose up against them and also struck the powerful barriers against them.

How many spirits are there even today wandering about in this manner?

It could be a blessing to lend our attention to the deed of multiplication of bread by Lord Jesus at this moment.

Who was it that broke the five ordinary barley bread and fed a multitude of five thousand? Who ate the bread?

Those who became worthy to eat this bread are they who came out in search for the imperishable bread of life. This is the people who came to hear the word of God.
Similarly, Jesus Christ who is the bread of life himself shared and distributed that bread.

The bread which Lord Jesus who imparts eternal life, touched and broke multiplied, to fill the multitude. Hence, we have to become persons who are striving to attain what is eternal (the kingdom of God) and when it is found we ought to be living and existing in it. We also have to be prepared to give up everything for it.

Then the doors of Heaven shall be open and the Lord who gives life shall pour out the necessities of life and thus bless ones being. This is the real meaning of the above miracle.

But for those who did not pay proper reverence to God or to those who did not have proper honor for Lord, to them his body seemed merely as an ordinary food. Such persons cannot experience or admire the divinity and lost love which is filled in this food.

Unprepared acceptance of Holy Eucharist leads that person into death.  As the body of Jesus accepted in an unworthy manner enters into that person it gets transformed into the body of satan. Through this the person gets led more into sin. Thus his spirit dies of and gradually he becomes enslaved to diseases.

Hence, dear ones, we shall list ourselves and see the wisdom that Lord has given shall be first put into use to know God Himself.

St Paul writes, “The cup we use in the Lord’s Supper and for which we give thanks to God; when we drink from it, we are sharing in the Blood of Christ. And the Bread we break when we eat it, we are sharing in the Body of Christ. Because there is the one loaf of bread, all of us, though many are one body, for we all share the same loaf.”  (1 Corinthians 10)

Hence, praise and glory to this bread of Lord. Amen!

ADORATION IN SPIRIT

Part II

God is Spirit, and only by the power of His Spirit can people worship Him as he really is. (John 4:24)

Lord Jesus speaks of the fundamental values of adoration to a Samaritan Woman who had been offering false worship throughout her life.

During the service of Almighty God, Jesus Christ came to a small town Sychar near Jacob’s well which was famous. Jesus was tired out by the journey and sat down near the well when disciples had gone to get food.

A Samaritan woman came to draw water and Jesus said to her, “Give me a drink of water.”
Since He was a Jew and she being a Samaritan, she refused to give him water.(untouchability)

Jesus answered, “If only you knew what God gives and who is it that is asking you water, you would ask Him, and He would give you life-giving water. Whoever drinks this water will be thirsty again but whoever drinks the water that I give will never be thirsty again. The water that I give will become a spring which will provide him with life-giving water and give him eternal life.”

“Sir,” the woman said “Give me that water! Then I will never be thirsty again nor will I have to come here to draw water.”
“Go and call your husband,” Jesus told her, “and come back.”
She answered, “I have not got a husband.”

Jesus replied, “You are right when you say that you haven’t got a husband. You have been married to five men, and the man you live with now is not really your husband. You have told me the truth.”

“I see you are a prophet, Sir,” the woman said.  “My Samaritan ancestors worshiped God on these mountains, but you Jews say that Jerusalem is the place where we should worship God.”

Jesus said to her, “Believe Me, woman, the time will come when people will not worship the Father either on this mountain or Jerusalem. You Samaritans do not really know whom you worship; but we Jews know whom we worship, because it is from the Jews that salvation comes. The time is coming, is already here, when by the power of God’s Spirit people will worship the Father as He really is, offering Him the true worship that he wants. God is Spirit and only by the power of His Spirit can people worship Him as He really is."

The woman said, “I know the Messiah will come, and when He comes, He will tell us everything.”

Jesus answered, “I am He, I who am talking with you.”

The woman went back to the town and said to the people there, “Come and see the man who told me everything I have ever done.”

“Could He be the Messiah?”

So the people left the town and went to Jesus. Many of the Samaritans in that town believed in Jesus because the woman had said. As per their request, Jesus stayed with them for two days serving His Father.

Many more believed because of His message and they said to the woman, “We believe now, not because of what you said, but we ourselves have heard Him, and we know that he really is the Savior of the world.”

Jesus did not speak about the worthless manner of adoration handed down by the traditional customs. Instead He revealed to her the truth about God, His Spirit and how he has to be worshiped by the help the Spirit alone.

Rather remaining concealed under the veil of false traditional worship, the people of God have to instead courageously step forward towards true spiritual adoration.

In this age wherein, the power of the Holy Spirit is abounding and plentiful adoration is the appropriate time to express one’s personal love and affection towards His Lord and God. We ought to advent a custom of awaking our Spirit daily and offering true worship to our Lord.

By the usage of the verse, “The Lord whom I worship in Spirit”
St. Paul the loyal soldier of faith clearly reveals the dignity and priority that he offers towards True Adoration in his own life.

We should not push aside adoration merely as a conduct of worship to be offered once a week or once a month. Adoration or true praise to God has to spring forth within one’s heart in every moment of our life.

In all his letters St. Paul gives priority to adoration in Spirit. “Pray at all occasions as the Spirit leads. (Eph. 6: 18)

On another occasion, the Holy Bible says that it is “we who worship God, by means of His Spirit, who have received true circumcision.” (Phil. 3:3)

Again through the letters Holy Bible teaches one as to how we ought to pattern our life.
“……….be filled with the Spirit. Speak to one another with words of psalms, hymns, sacred songs and sing hymns and songs to the Lord with praise in your heart. In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ always give thanks for everything to God the Father. (Eph. 5:18-20)

The instructions given by St. Jude the loyal servant of Jesus Christ, to the chosen people of God, is indeed worth paying attention to:
“My Friends, keep yourself in the love of God by praying in the power of the Holy Spirit and thus keep building yourself upon your most Sacred Faith. (Jude 1:20)

Some of the virtues to be instilled in moments of adoration in spirit are stated above are indeed evident. True Adoration includes usage of psalms, praises, sacred songs, prayer notes, advice and gift of tongues.

God fearing friends, with an attitude of contempt we often nearly tend to neglect these glorious and precious deed of true adoration. With a pure conscience, by making the word of God as our basic foundation we the children of God have to retreat from injustice and false ways of life.

We shall surrender ourselves as justifiable and appropriate objects of True Adoration.

Our Lord, who is truth himself, merely desires an honest and true adoration from us. At all times and occasions we have to try and always offer true adoration to our Heavenly Father. Like the Samaritan woman let us pause a minute in our busy schedule and lend an ear to the truth and wisdom revealed by Jesus, the Savior of the world.

Hence let’s take leave from mere exhibiting ways of worship and false tradition . Through these deeds of ours may the Lord’s holy name attain glory ever more.

Because the Lord is Holy and worthy to be praised, He is adorable and high above all other gods. So to worship Him is an Honor for us.

Beautiful words fill my mind as I compose the song for the King. Like the pen of a good writer my tongue is ready with a poem. (Psalms 45:1)

May the Holy Lord of Israel be worshiped till the end of age.
O sovereign Lord Holy and True Blessing,
Glory, wisdom and Thanksgiving,
Honor and power and might be to our God
forever and ever. Amen!

ADORATION IN SPIRIT

PART I

God is Spirit, and only by the power of His Spirit can people worship Him as He really is. (John 4:24)

Almighty God created a huge community of angels who kept on worshiping and adoring Him day and night. Among them a choir of angels lost their intentions. By visualizing a more superior part in man and that God gave him His own image to them.

In Holy Bible, Book of Genesis 22:5, the word adoration has made its first appearance. We can understand that love, gratefulness, piety and faithfulness are included in the word of adoration. It is a complete sacrifice of a human life willingly to the Creator.

In the New Testament, there is another noteworthy scene; "they went into the house and when they saw the child with his mother Mary, then the three kings knelt down and worshiped Him." (Matt 2:11)

Here too we find the intention involving piety and respect.

How can we define adoration? How should true adoration be?

Beautiful words fill my mind as I compose this song for the King. Like the pen of a good writer, my tongue is ready with a poem."  (Psalms 45:1)

With a gratitude heart when you glorify the Blessed Trinity experiencing the presence of God is Adoration.

A response coming from a heart which accepts our Heavenly God as Father and Son Jesus Christ as Savior and Holy Spirit as the helper of Living God  dwelling in us is True Adoration.

In short, we adore the Blessed Trinity Father, Son, Holy Spirit,  the Triumphant God. Aim shall not be to gain anything but it is the Holy Moment to memorize the Lord who bore and gave everything for our sake.

The Holy Vision of St. John reveals the Worship in Heaven. (Rev.4: 1-11 )

“At once the Spirit took control of me. There in heaven was a throne with someone sitting on it. His face gleamed like such precious stones as jasper and carnelian, and all round the throne there was a rainbow the color of an emerald. In a circle round the throne were twenty four other thrones, on which were seated twenty-four elders dressed in white and wearing crowns of gold. From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne seven lighted torches were burning, which were the seven spirits of God. Also in front of the throne there was what looked like a sea of glass, clear as crystal.”

“Surrounding the throne on each of its sides were four living creatures covered with eyes in front and behind. The first one looked like a lion; the second looked like a bull; the third had a face like man’s face; and the fourth looked like an eagle in flight. Each one of the four living creatures had six wings, and they were covered with eyes, inside and out. Day and night they never stopped singing:

“Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty,
Who was, who is, and who is to come.”

"The four living creatures sing songs of glory and honor and thanks to the one who sits on the throne and thanks to the one who sits on the throne, who lives forever and ever. When they do so, the twenty four elders fall down before the one who sits on the throne, and worship him who lives forever and ever. They throw their crowns down in front of the throne and say,

“Our Lord and God! You are worthy
To receive glory, honor and power.
For you created all things,
And by your will they were given
Existence and life.”

Do not forget the reality that adoration is also a command given by God. It is a command given by the Creator to His creation.

“Worship No God but me.” (Exodus 20:3)

Again it is instructed “Do Not worship any other God because the Lord tolerates no rival.”  (Exodus 34:14)

We shall take the example of Abraham, whom the Lord called and separated from other idol worshipers.

The constantly rising command and also the duty of us, who are the children of God and when we enter the eternal life would be able to see the face of God and always worship Him.

“Worship the Lord your God and serve only Him.” (Luke 4:8). This advice of Jesus is indeed noteworthy.

Satan who asked the Creator to bow down and worship Him, how much more of his wicked tricks will he not try out on us, who are merely little worms.?

By not being able to grasp the basic values of eternal adoration, numerous dumb souls  get stuck everyday in the passion filled trap set by satan and thus destroy themselves. Some make for themselves idols and worship them, while yet others worship this creation, wealth or the joys of life instead of God.

Dear Ones, the Blood of Jesus, alone is the foundation of our adoration. (Heb 9:18)
By turning from evil attitude with sprinkled and purified heart and body washed with the Word of God and with a sincere heart which has complete evidence of faith.

Similarly the Holy Bible also effectively reveals the manner in which one has to adore the Lord. The true adoration is to be offered by the power of the Holy Spirit.

So let us move closer to the altar of God.
