NATHAN’S MESSAGE TO DAVID

King David was settled in his palace and the Lord kept him safe from all his enemies. Then the king said to the prophet Nathan, “Here I am living in a house built of cedar, but God’s Covenant Box is kept in a tent!”

Nathan answered, “Do whatever you have in mind, because the Lord is with you.” But that night the Lord said to Nathan, “Go and tell my servant David that I say to him, “You are not the one to build a Temple for Me to live in. (2 Samuel 7: 1-5)

ZECHARIAH’S PROPHECY

John’s father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit, and he spoke God’s message:
“Let us praise the Lord, the God of Israel!
He has come to the help of His people
and has set them free.
He has provided for us a mighty
Savior,
a descendant of His servant David.
He promised through His holy prophets long ago
that He would save us from our enemies,
from the power of all those who hate us.
He said He would show mercy to our ancestors
And remember His sacred covenant.
With a solemn oath to our ancestor Abraham
He promised to rescue us from our enemies
And allow us to serve Him without fear,
So that we might be holy and righteous before Him
All the days of our life.
“You, my child, will be called a prophet
of the Most High God.
You will go ahead of the Lord
to prepare His road for Him,
to tell His people that they will be saved
by having their sins forgiven.
Our God is merciful and tender.
He will cause the bright dawn of
Salvation to rise on us
and to shine from heaven on all
those who live in the dark shadow of death
to guide our steps into the path of peace.”

THE DAY OF JUDGEMENT IS NEAR

The Lord Almighty answers, “I will send my messenger to prepare the way for me. Then the Lord you are looking for will suddenly come to His Temple. The messenger you long to see will come and proclaim my covenant.”

But who will be able to endure the day when He comes? Who will be able to survive when He appears? He will be like strong soap, like a fire that refines metal. He will come to judge like one who refines and purifies silver. As a metal worker refines silver and gold, so the Lord’s messenger will purify the priests, so that they will bring to the Lord the right kind of offerings. Then the offerings which the people of Judah and Jerusalem bring to the Lord will be pleasing to Him, as they used to be in the past. (Malachi 3:1-4)

THE BIRTH OF JOHN THE BAPTIST
The time came for Elizabeth to have her baby, and she gave birth to a son. Her neighbors and relatives heard how wonderfully good the Lord had been to her, and they all rejoiced with her.

When the baby was a week old, they came to circumcise him, and they were going to name him Zechariah, after his father. But his mother said, “No! His name is to be John.”

They said to her, “But you have no relatives with that name!” then they made signs to his father, asking him what name he would like the boy to have.

Zechariah asked for a writing tablet and wrote, “His name is John.” How surprised they all were! At that moment Zechariah was able to speak again, and he started praising God. The neighbors were all filled with fear, and the news about these things spread through all the  hill-country of Judaea. Everyone who heard of it thought about it and asked, “What is this child going to be?” For it was plain that the Lord’s power was upon him. (Luke 1:57-66)

THE SIGN OF IMMANUEL
The Lord sent another message to Ahaz: “Ask the Lord your God to give you a sign. It can be from deep in the world of the dead or from high up in the heaven.”

Ahaz answered, “I will not ask for a sign. I refuse to put the Lord to the test.”

To that Isaiah replied, “Listen, now, descendants of King David. It’s bad enough for you to bear out the patience of men --- must you wear out God’s patience too? Well then, the Lord Himself will give you a sign: a young woman who is pregnant will have a son and will name Him ‘Immanuel’.  (Isaiah 7:10-14)

THE BIRTH OF JESUS IS ANNOUNCED

In the sixth month of Elizabeth’s pregnancy God sent the angel Gabriel to a town in Galilee named Nazareth. He had a message for a girl promised in marriage to a man named Joseph, who was a descendant of King David. The girl’s name was Mary. The angel came to her and said, “Peace be with you! The Lord is with you and has greatly blessed you!”

Mary was deeply troubled by the angel’s message, and she wondered what his words meant. The angel said to her, “don’t be afraid, Mary; God has been gracious to you. You will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and you will name him Jesus.  He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High God. The Lord God will make him a king, as his ancestor David was, and he will be the king of the descendants of Jacob for ever; His kingdom will never end!”

Mary said to the angel, “I am a virgin. How, then, can this be?”

The angel answered, “The Holy Spirit will come on you, and God’s power will rest upon you. For this reason the holy child will be called the Son of God. Remember your relative Elizabeth. It is said that she cannot have children, but she herself is now six months pregnant, even though she is very old. For there is nothing that God cannot do.”

“I am the Lord’s servant,” said Mary; “may it happen to me as you have said.” And the angel left her.    (Luke 1:26-38)

The message of Salvation was given to Mary through the Archangel Gabriel.

Even today, God often conveys His message to us through different mediums be it a person or a situation.

Are we ready to accept God’s will like Mary? Do we have the humility in us to say like the Holy Mother, “may it happen to me as your Holy Will!”

Let us seek her help when we face paralyzing fear of situations for doing the will of God or when swimming against the tide of public opinion; as she freely said ‘yes’ to God and faced all consequences of her free decision for the sake of human race.

Blessed are those who hear the Word of God and keep it.

Recite Hail Mary as possible as you can to obtain her grace.

CHRISTEEN SECTION

My Spirit rejoices in my Lord as I, your Sister in Christ, congratulate and extend my heartfelt gratitude to one and all that regularly read, send prayer requests, pour thanksgivings and encourage us.

I take this opportunity to appreciate all the young children, who painstakingly partook in the Advent activities. May the gracious Father, our loving dad bestow His love upon each one; accepting the most valuable treasures of the little buds and may it be transported and distributed to the entire planet via His Heavenly Messengers in accordance to His Holy Will.

I have pre-poned this week’s CHRISTEEN SECTION to today, as we are already in the Christmas week and it is the apt moment to keep ready your return gifts to our Lord, the Word Incarnate.
Let us propose one more effort to the little ones to complete the entire advent activities and craft it into presentable manner.

Be sure to compile and neatly note your whole advent activities into a small book.  Do acquire a gift wrapper to wrap the book. A handmade greeting card attached to the gift would be an added advantage. As you engross yourself, keep your lips busy too with Christmas Hymns. Also do not forget lighting the four candles of the Advent wreath.

Do you remember how the three Magi Kings brought themselves and their presents to the King of Universe?

The three Magi Kings of the east entered the cave that housed the Manger and prostrated themselves upon the earth while they worshipped and adored the Holy Infant acknowledging Him as the True God and man; the Savior of the human race.
They were filled with enlightenment and congratulated our Queen as Mother of God and St. Joseph for his good fortune on being chosen as the spouse of the Mother of God. The Heavenly Mother received their gifts and offered it to the Infant Jesus on each one’s behalf.

Do you know what the Holy Mother gave them in return?

She provided them some of the clothes in which she had wrapped the Infant God; for she neither had nor could have had anything greater visible pledges of esteem to enrich them at their departure.
They received the relics with such reverence and esteem that they encased them in gold and other precious stones in order to sustain them ever after.

They believed in the coming of God into the world and their own countries. They performed great miracle with these relics.
On taking leave of her, the three Kings from their inmost heart besot to the Holy Mother and St. Joseph not to forget them. With the blessings of Infant Jesus, Mary and Joseph, they departed.

Dear viewers of KLWC, So also let us be blessed by offering ourselves, our property and possessions and all that we have to the Mother and Sweet Jesus and prostrate upon the earth in worship and in His adoration.

Meanwhile let the children also imitate the elders in prostrating themselves; offering all their happiness, gifts, talents etc and their life ahead while worshiping and adoring the Holy Infant.
As I sign off, let me extend my sanctified Christmas Greetings to one and all.

With Love-Filled Blessings..

GOD PROMISES A RULER FROM BETHLEHEM

People of Jerusalem gather your forces!  We are besieged!  They are attacking the leader of Israel!

The Lord says, “Bethlehem Ephrathah,  you are one of the smallest towns in Judah, but out of you I will bring a ruler for Israel,  whose family line goes back to ancient times.”

So the Lord will abandon His people to their enemies until the women who is to give birth has her son.   Then his fellow – countrymen who are in exile will be reunited with their own people.   When He comes, He will rule His people with the strength that comes from the Lord and with the majesty of the Lord God Himself.   His people will live in safety because people all over the earth with acknowledge His greatness, and He will bring peace.

A RETREAT TO SPIRIT FILLED CHRISTMAS

PART II

How perfect are the deeds of God, how dependable His words! He is like a shield for all those who seek His protection. The Lord alone is God; God alone is our defence. He is the God who makes me strong, who makes my path safe. He makes me sure-footed as a deer; He keeps me safe on the mountains. He trains me for battle, so that I can use the strongest bow. O Lord, You protect me and save me; your care has made me great, and your power has kept me safe.   (Psalms 18)

You may ask what exactly are we supposed to do this Christmas? How can we have a spirit filled Christmas?

Dear devotees, it is essential to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation at the commencement of December month. It is only when we shatter the doors of falsehood, injustice etc to approach the Lord, can He come as the Lord of our life.

When decorations adorn only the exterior portion of our lives, we tend to defame the word ‘Christmas’. The Holy Infant laments, “As I enter to glance into every home, no where do I receive a welcome or a place to call my own. Everywhere people are miserably exhibiting the master of the world. They spend time preparing the most beautiful crib but fail to invite Me to it. People are busy exchanging greetings but forgeT to present themselves to Me.”

The Infant weeps bitterly when He finds you immersed in drinks; inattentive to His groans and fails to honor Him as the chief guest of His birthday banquet.

Dear devotees, let us retreat from the traditional rituals. Check for yourselves as to how long has that Lamp of divine truth  been burning without oil?

Let’s come to the Lord’s presence to experience the beauty and spiritual happiness that is wrapped up in Christmas.

Offer every minute and big deeds and accomplishment as a penance for the sins of self and your family; the Lord in return will surely grant you great satisfaction, acceptance and unity among the family members. You will be blessed with the opportunity to decide things together and carry them out in all unity.

When the Infant sees this heart adorned with good décor He will enter into it, establishing a place for Himself in  your family, presiding as the chief guest of your home.

Your heart and home will be filled with renewed, spirit filled experiences.

Two thousand years ago, God sent His love into this world in the form of an innocent child. While on this earth, He was known as the carpenter’s son, who recognized the measure of hard work of His mother and foster father.  While healing the hearts and bodies of those around him; He understood the depth of their lifeless situation of their Spirit.

Lord Jesus spent the majority of his life engrossed in doing good by helping the people, loving children, strengthening the weak all the while bringing them closer to Salvation. Not only did He preach the Good News but the Lord provided the physical and spiritual needs of His people in abundance.

Since Lord Jesus’ teachings were very light; He exalts us to become like little children. He excluded preaching about practicing rituals or traditions and educated people on love and how to live in love. He taught about things necessary to enter the Kingdom of God. (Matthew 22:7)

Becoming the friend of the people who were rejected and abandoned by the world; He took heed not to sell Himself for the approval of the Holy Word.

Jesus told them thus, “You shall enter the kingdom of God before those people who are sealed as good by the world and those who are considered holy and upright.”

Seeking comfort of His message, many followed Him. However the Teachers of the Law and other jealous authorities were filled with awe. To them the deeds of the carpenter’s son seemed threatening, thus turning them hostile, and carrying out unmerited actions against Lord Jesus.

In spite of His innocence being proved, the world crucified Him. For three days, His divine body rested in the lifeless tomb but on the third day by destroying the doors of death and hell, and uplifting the banner of victory, He rose to eternal life.

This man celebrated as Jesus Christ, was not just a prophet, Teacher, a Rabbi, or a Master. He is the Son of God, the only holy lamb of Salvation for the entire mankind; the Everlasting Peace of every family.

Grace and Truth came through Jesus Christ. (John 1:17)

He is the Creator of the entire Universe. He is everything.

Dear devotees, In order to fetch us, who have gone astray and distant from God due to our sinful nature and deeds; and to lead us more closer to the Streams of Everlasting Love; He came and Lived among us with  the name ‘Jesus’.

His life is handed over to us as a lesson as He is the only way for our Salvation.

Jesus, the Savoir, says, “I am the way, the truth and the life. No one goes to the Father except by Me.” (John 14:6)

A RETREAT TO SPIRIT FILLED CHRISTMAS

PART I

How perfect are the deeds of God, how dependable His words! He is like a shield for all those who seek His protection. The Lord alone is God; God alone is our defence. He is the God who makes me strong, who makes my path safe. He makes me sure-footed as a deer; He keeps me safe on the mountains. He trains me for battle, so that I can use the strongest bow. O Lord, You protect me and save me; your care has made me great, and your power has kept me safe.   (Psalms 18)

May the God of KLWC, grant the readers an atmosphere filled with love, joy and mutual trust, throughout this Christmas season.

A family is the basic foundation of a community and most ancient human movement. Though officially we have many public holidays round the year, a day granted by our Creator, exclusively to tighten the knots of a Christian family is the birth-day of the King of Peace.

But this truth and realization gets covered by the dust of the hustle and bustle of the daily toil of our life.

When a child is born to a couple, the foundation of their race gets firmly established. The day is dedicated and celebrated by parents and everyone in the family to welcome the arrival of the little one.

This Christmas season take some time out of your hectic schedule to meditate about the infant and his life situations.

It was only after his engagement to Mary, did Joseph realize that she was pregnant by the power of the Holy Spirit. Joseph, being a just and noble man, decided to break off the engagement secretly. However, while he was thinking about this an angel of the Lord appeared and said, “Joseph, a descendant of David, do not hesitate to accept Mary as your wife.” …..And Joseph without any doubt accepted Mary as his wife. (Matthew 1:18)

When Joseph received the news that Virgin Mary was pregnant by the Holy Spirit, he was totally amazed, but when he was comforted by the Heavenly power, Joseph obeyed the Sovereign God’s message to be with Mary and safeguard her always.

Here let us analyze the situation of the Holy Family contrast to that of ours. Even the poorest of the poor have a tiny dwelling to call their home and give birth to their child in it. As far as we are concerned, we are surrounded by the best medical assistance, doctors, specialists appointed readily. Nowadays, how much ever comfort God provides us, we parents and our children can never quit our whimper and grumbling.

However the birth place of the first child of the first Holy Family, who is peace of every family, the Infant Jesus was born in an ordinary manger. Dry hay which is the fodder for the cattle was the bed for the Prince of Heaven to lay. The little Jesus who is the cornerstone of the family had a more discomfort life.

The first visitors to the new born child were some poor shepherds, who got the heavenly message while watching their flocks that freezing night. When they arrived at the Holy Nativity, they saw the child sleeping peacefully, wrapped in swaddling clothes, devoid of any warm garment. They also visualized his mother sitting gracefully engrossed in God’s love amidst the poverty and Joseph in great patience, courageously safeguarding the mother and child.

The arrival of the three wise men and their adoration to the Holy King, created  splendid atmosphere of lordship and grandeur to the King of Kings.

Dear devotees, this is the Christmas that we ought to celebrate.

But how do our Christmas celebrations begin and end?

The star, tree, decorations, sweets even the crib that could be handmade by the members of the family, are being included in the shopping lists.
All this purchases are being a replacement for the blessed togetherness of the family, the sacrifices and the valuable inputs and discussions for the arrival of the Holy King.

The competition for the best crib and the Christmas tree awarded by the community also snatches away the reverence of Christmas.

Wearing the latest trend, shopping the most up-to-date gadget, renovating the house etc. without spiritual preparations, shrinks the richness of the real Holy Nativity.

Some like to immerse themselves in the Spirit of Christmas by throwing a banquet of the finest meat and drinks for those who are ready to dance to their tune; eat and drink till each one is out of their senses!

Another fraction of people who indulge in indecent acts and visit clubs are also not very few.

Are we not misusing the holy word ‘Christmas’?

CHRISTEEN SECTION

ADVENT ACTIVITIES
PART III

Dear children,

Greetings of Christmas! How was your last week? Hope you did your best to do well and lend a helping hand to your parents, family and friends.

We are already into the third week of advent and the candle of joy is to be lit. As a preparation let us pluck out the plants of sadness, anxiety, fear and laziness, disobedience etc..

So let’s awaken ourselves to receive the Holy Infant in a Supreme holy manner; by checking our hearts once again for any traces of malice like anger, restlessness arising from concealing your school work etc., to your guardians.

It is good to practice sharing, caring and helping others with a joyful heart without expecting anything from them that will form an ornate manger for your King of Peace.

St. Nicholas, better known as Santa Claus is another cheer during the Christmas celebrations. God had blessed Nicholas with enough wealth and a generous heart. He moved with compassion on seeing the poor and downtrodden.

A classic tale  goes thus: There was a poor man with three daughters who were all of marriageable age. The family was too poor to afford the dowry, i.e,  a sum of money paid to the bridegroom by the bride’s family on the wedding day. One night, Nicholas secretly dropped a bag of gold down the chimney into the house. The bag fell into a stocking that had been hung to dry. This was done repeatedly until two daughters were married. The father was keen on finding out the secret well-wisher, decided to wait by the fireside. After a couple of days, he found out, when Nicholas was dropping another bag of gold for the third daughter to get married!

Nicholas begged the man not to let the secret out, as he did not want to bring attention to himself. But soon the news got out and whenever anyone in the small town got a secret gift, it was thought to be from St. Nicholas.

With a long list in hand, each one of you is awaiting Santa and his gifts for you.

But how would it be if you were to be someone’s Santa, moved with compassion towards the needy?

Look through your tiny eyes for those who cannot afford a day’s meal and a good dress; or a classmate who cannot pay their fees on time. How about a visit to a neighbour who is sick in bed or a lonely uncle or aunt whose day could be brightened by your presence and a simple smile? Look for any instance when you can be of genuine help to someone, with little effort and its pain, all for the Lord’s sake!

By doing good deeds let us purify the talents that Jesus has given.

As the clock ticks by faster towards Christmas, let us rush to make up our sole surroundings worthy to receive the Holy Lord. We pray that children who missed out or  failed to complete the advent activities to catch up sooner.

A bouquet of gratitude and special prayer of good fortune goes from Me, to all those who fulfilled or are still on the advent activities.

May the good God of KLWC, honor you with His Glory throughout your life.

May the eternal joy and peace of Infant Jesus grant you wisdom and dutiful nature.

With love filled blessings,
Your Sister in Christ

THE LORD’S LOVE FOR ISRAEL

Jerusalem, you have been like a childless woman,
But now you can sing and shout for joy.
Now you will have more children
Than a woman whose husband never left her!

Make the tent you live in larger;
Lengthen its ropes and strengthen the pegs!
You will extend your boundaries on all sides;
Your people will get back to the land
that the other nations now occupy.
Cities now deserted will be filled with people.

Do not be afraid – you will not be disgraced again;
you will not be humiliated.
You will forget your unfaithfulness as a young wife,
And your desperate loneliness as a widow.
Your Creator will be like a husband to you—
The Lord Almighty is His name.
The Holy God of Israel will save you—
He is the ruler of all the world.

Israel, you are like a young wife,
deserted by her husband and deeply distressed.
But the Lord calls you back to Him and says:
“For one brief moment I left you;
with deep love I will take you back.
I turned away angry for only a moment,
but I will show you my love for ever.”
So says the Lord who saves you.

“In the time of Noah I promised
never again to flood the earth.
Now I promise not to be angry with you again;
I will not reprimand or punish you.
The mountains and hills may crumble,
but My love for you will never end;
I will keep forever my promise of peace.”
So says the Lord who loves you.

THE FUTURE JERUSALEM
The Lord says,
“O Jerusalem, you suffering, helpless city,
with no one to comfort you,
I will rebuild your foundations with precious stones.
I will build towers with rubies,
your gates with stones that glow like fire,
and the wall around you with jewels.

“I myself will teach your people,
And give them prosperity and peace.
Justice and right will make you strong.
You will be safe from oppression and terror.
If anyone attacks you,
he does it without my consent;
whoever fights against you will fall.

“I create the blacksmith,
who builds a fire and forges weapon.
I also create the soldier,
who uses the weapons to kill.
But no weapon will be able to hurt you;
You will have an answer for all who accuse you.
I will defend my servants
And give them victory.”
                                                       The Lord has spoken.

                                                                                                                                (Isaiah 54)

SUPREME LOVE INSISTS….

May you obtain the unlimited mercy and abundance of His grace that springs forth from the promises of God.

Christmas is a festival which is celebrated with the greatest pomp and splendor by people all over the world.

Jesus Christ, the Word of God, greater than the angels-- took a nature equal to man excluding sin for the Salvation of mankind. This incarnation occasion is God’s expression of love and mercy upon His creation that were rejected, helpless and downtrodden.

The rich and poor, irrespective of caste or creed are rewarded with joy and peace by this event.

With great rejoicing and strength the angels imparted the Good News of the coming of our Savior to the shepherds who were looking after their sheep.

The journey seeking the Savior gave true knowledge to the wise men whose wisdom was fading away under the influence of the worldly power and traditions. The heavenly hymns, full of divine glory also adorned the earth with the holy resounding of songs.

When a great army of heaven’s angels appeared and sang praises to God, the Virgin Mother received the insight about the mysterious love of God that was there in the sacrifices that were involved behind rewarding the Savior to the world.

We can see that according to the messages from Heaven, Joseph obtained the faith, courage and patience to protect the mother and the infant.

Once while Jesus was teaching in the Synagogue, a teacher of the Law came up and tried to trap Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to receive eternal life?” Jesus answered Him, “What do the Scripture say? How do you interpret them?”

The man answered, “Love the Lord your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength and with all your mind,” “and love your neighbor as you love yourself.”

“You are right,” Jesus replied, “Do this and you will live.”

But the teacher of the Law wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “Who is my neighbor?”

Reading his thoughts Jesus began to speak to Him through a parable.

Jesus answered, “There was once a man who was going down from Jerusalem to Jerico when robbers attacked him, stripped, and beat him up, living him half dead. It so happened that a priest was going down that road, but when he saw the man, he walked on by, on the other side. The same way Levite also came along, went over, looked at the man, and then walked on by, on the other side. Thirdly a Samaritan happened to pass that way. He was filled with pity for the wounded man. He went over to him, poured oil and wine on his wounds and bandaged them, then He put the man on his own animal and took him to an inn, where he took care of him.”

“He kept that night aside to take care of that stranger. The next day morning he met the inn keeper and instructed him to take good care of him and gave him some money. Before leaving he again said to the inn keeper, ‘I will pay you whatever else you spent on him. Don’t hesitate to take care of him.’ ”

After saying this, Jesus concluded, “In your opinion, which one of these three acted like a neighbor towards the man attacked by the robbers?”

The Teacher of the Law answered, “The one who was kind to him.”

Jesus replied, “You go, then and do the same.”

Everyone is busy seeking tidings of everlasting joy and peace amidst the hustle and bustle of their life. The most lovable gift that the Heavenly Father has granted in this brief life is His Everlasting Love.
In His own time, the loving Father has handed it over to us through His chosen messenger and that blessed day has been named ‘Christmas.’

This gift in reality had life in it. That life was the light of the world and that life giving light is Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ came into this world amidst its unfavorable circumstances to make people experience the love of God and to teach us to love the Heavenly Father and human brothers.  By summarizing all the commandments into just two commandments, Jesus taught us to put into real practice.

Jesus’ life became a sacrificial life for the love of God and man. The Supreme Plan of Abba Father, for the whole human race is to seek, obtain and share this love.

Like the good Samaritan every Christian is obliged to help sincerely his neighbors for the reason that it is a commandment. We have to pray for the prosperity and unity of our neighbors. If you need co-operation, you ought to have mutual love and patience.

The Lord says, “Do not take revenge on anyone or continue to hate him but love your neighbor as you love yourself. I am the Lord.” (Levi 19:18)

If for any reason you happen to suffer because of your neighbor, don’t say, “I will take revenge.”

The Lord says, “Evil people worry you, don’t be envious of them. A wicked person has no future—nothing to look forward to.” (Proverbs 24:29)

The Lord teaches us, “Ask God to bless those who persecute you – yes – ask Him to bless, not to curse,”

Dear devotees, to those of you who are preparing to receive Jesus Christ, who is gift of God, isn’t voice of God, “Love your neighbor as yourself,” resounding in your ears.

Without accepting our nearest neighbor, we are unworthy to receive the gift that comes from the Heavenly Father.

The Lord says, “But I show my love to thousands of generations of those who love Me and obey My Laws. (Exodus 20:6)

The Lord expresses His unchanging Love towards those who obey His command. Our blessings are enriched, when we love our neighbors,.
In this short life that passes by like a shadow, let us abandon the paths of unrighteousness and destruction. Let us transform our life which is like the fog that appears for some time and disappears at other times, into a selfless one.

May the Infant Lord Jesus, King of Kings, who left the Heavens, came down to earth and accepted the form of a servant, bless you with a service mentality alike His.

                                                             LET US PRAY
Heavenly Father, just as You love me in all circumstances, for the sake of Jesus’ Love, teach me to love and help my neighbors always. Make me strong to bear all the burdens and losses that occur while helping my neighbor. Above all grant me the strength to love God and to love my  neighbour as myself. Fill me with God’s Holy Spirit that overpowers everything. Amen!

PSALMS 113

IN PRAISE OF THE LORD’S GOODNESS

Praise the Lord!
You servants of the Lord, praise His name!
May His name be praised, now and forever.
From the east to the west, praise the name of the Lord!
The Lord rules over all nations; His glory is above the heavens.
There is no one like the Lord our God.
He lives in the heights above,
but He bends down to see the heavens and the earth.
He raises the poor from the dust;
He lifts the needy from their misery
and makes them companions of princes,
the princes of His people.
He honors the childless wife in her home;
He makes her happy by giving her children.
Praise the Lord!
