LENTEN MESSAGE
A GREAT FALL AHEAD
The
Lord said, “Earth and sky, listen to what I am saying! The children I brought
up have rebelled against Me.” (Isaiah 1:2)

Once in deep grief the Sovereign Lord called out and reprimanded His people, “Earth and sky listen to what I am saying! The children I brought up have rebelled against Me. Cattle knows who owns them, and the donkeys know where their master feeds them. But that is more than my people Israel know. They don’t understand at all.” (Isaiah 1:2-3) So stop nourishing the devil and inviting your disaster.

When an earthquake occurs, we all
hastily come to the conclusion that it is due to the unrighteous leader or
sinful people dwelling in that region. Rather, it is the deep grief of God that
arises from seeing the stubbornness of His children who defile the earth- the
resting place of God’s feet. When we are filled with evil and corruptness turn
our backs to God, He desire that by paying attention return to His teaching, we
return to Him. Similarly when your family is torn apart by the minor
earthquakes, before it further develops into further cracks and goes further
into doom, seek the Almighty God. Pay attention to various media of Spiritual
knowledge, study His teachings that can seal the cracks and create a new family
adorned in the Paradise. Though He was sinless, your Redeemer took all your
sins and received the cruelest punishment. We often tend to commit sins every
other minute by our thoughts, words and actions, but fail in taking courage to
refuse and confess it.—“I have sinned against you, Lord.”The King of all
judges, who was not to be judged, stood accused, agreeing and accepting all
false accusations. How do we react when judged by others? He set us free from
judging others. He carried our pains; are we capable to take others pain
cheerfully? Though the wages of sin is death, yet blameless and innocent, He
gave up His life so that we will not be dead for our sins. Even on His way to
Calvary, in middle of the town, carrying the heavy cross, He comforted, the
Jerusalem daughters; who were lamenting for Him, “Don’t cry for Me, but for
yourselves and your children. (Luke 23:28)
“The people will call out to the
mountains, ‘Hide us!’ and to the hills, ‘Cover us!””(Hosea 10:8) Sovereign God
had prophesized, two thousand years ago, that there would be a time when
mankind will weep and lament for the consequences of its deceit and
wretchedness. The wicked world celebrated His death; but before their feasting
was over He rose up victorious and stamped the power of the world to hell. May
the victorious Lord be adored and worshipped ever more!
Dear followers of Christ, ponder over
this: to whom are we fighting and screaming? As by the Law, we all are saved by
King Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of our Heavenly Father and we became
the brothers and sisters of Christ. So if your blood is boiling to the point
that leads you to fight; trample down the enemy that encourages you to do so and not
the people whom God saved. So build up your strength in union with the Lord by
means of His mighty power. The Holy Bible illuminates us on whom to fight, “We
are not fighting against human beings, but against the wicked spiritual forces
in the heavenly world, the rulers, authorities and the cosmic power of the dark
age. ....so stand ready with truth as a belt tight round your waist, with
righteousness as your breastplate, and as your shoes the readiness to announce
the Good News of peace. …… faith as a
shield; for with it you will be able to put out all the burning arrows shot by
the evil one.” (Ephesians 6 : 12-15)
Accomplish all these in a silent
prayer and arise as a silent follower of the Risen Lord!
May the Lord bless
you and take care of you. May He be kind and gracious to you. May the Lord look
on you with favour and give you peace.
With love filled blessings,
Your Sister in Christ
