PART IV

“Your life in Christ makes you strong and His love comforts you.  You have fellowship with the Spirit, and you have kindness and compassion for one another.”  (Phil 2:1)

PEACE

In the Book of Leviticus, God of Israel says, “I will give you peace in your land and you will sleep without being afraid of anyone.” Those who seek and obey His commandments politely, God blesses them with His promise of Peace.

The Sovereign Lord made the covenant of peace with David and his family. 

(Isaiah 54), “I will keep my promise of peace,” says the Lord who loves you. Praise the Lord!!

The Holy Bible reminds us that it is rigid for a sinner to get peace, “You will look for peace but nothing good will happen.”

The Word Incarnate- Christ Jesus brought the Everlasting Peace to the world and preached the Good News of Peace to all. As a result, we have been empowered to inherit the Kingdom of Peace.

The Holy Bible says, “It is through Christ that all of us are able to come in the one Spirit into the presence of the Father.” (Eph 2:18).  So we are all God’s people and are the members of family of God.

The Lord Jesus blessed his disciples with peace.  “Peace is what I leave with you. ….. I do not give it as the world does”.  (John 14: 27) He blessed His disciples with peace and promised them His Holy Spirit.

Lord Jesus said to them, “Peace be with you”.  Then He breathed on them and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”  (John 20: 22)

Once Lord Jesus sent His disciples to the town to preach and instructed them, “Whoever accepts you in my name, let my peace remain with them.” Through this Lord teaches us to spread His peace throughout the world.

The Good News Bible addresses God as the source of Peace and thus the peace emitted from Him is Everlasting Peace. God provides us His Life through the Holy Spirit, as the Holy Bible blesses us , “May the God of peace provide you with every good thing you need in order to do His will.” Since it is a virtue, we ought to take tremendous care to accept Him loyally and be obedient towards the Will of God.

The Holy Scriptures says, “If the Spirit of God who raised Jesus from death, lives in you, then He who raised Christ from death will also give life to your carnal bodies by the presence of His Holy Spirit in you” (Rom 8 : 11)

The God of peace raised Lazarus from death, blessing his family with peace through the Holy Spirit.

The tremendous peace that God bestows in our suffering provides immense courage.  The Bible says in John 16:33, “The world will make you suffer but be brave I have defeated the world.”  The comforting qualities of Holy Spirit are essential to have victory over the world.

A good God fearing man, Prophet Simeon filled with the Holy Spirit, who was waiting to see the Savior of the world- received his peace when he saw the parents brought  Jesus’ to him for the rituals. He rejoiced in peace, exclaiming to the Lord by lifting his eyes up towards Him, “You may let your servant go in peace.” (Luke 2)

Here you can see that Prophet Simeon waited patiently and faithfully to fulfill the prophesy of God, that he will be alive till he sees the Savior. The contentment & peace he received on seeing the Savior permitted him to glorify God. Similarly, if we wait patiently with the Holy Spirit, we too can achieve a life like Simeon.

So let us return to the path of everlasting peace that can grant us tidings of joy, love, courage and hope. 

Let us remember the Mother of our Lord, the Queen of Peace to intercede for us to follow her footsteps leading a peaceful life even in the midst of bloodshed tears. 

Mother Mary, Queen of Peace, pray for us and for the whole world. Amen.

Testimonies about the Joy & Peace of Salvation:

·        Peace eluded my mother who suffered insomnia and breathlessness and heaviness of the heart. Her ailments prevented her from travelling. Attending the KLWC prayer meeting, I wrote a petition for her. The Lord, who is aware of everything, blessed my mother, who resides 1500 kms away from KLWC by calling out her name and granting her peace of mind and refreshing sleep. Today she is free from all her physical ailments. I offer thousands of gratitude to the Lord.

·        Suffered from venereal disease for 16 yrs, which later got diagnosed into AIDS. Being dead with sorrow, the Lord attracted me towards the KLWC shore of fellowship, granting me joy of forgiveness for all my wrongdoing and healing me. Praise the Lord!! Glory to God!!

·        Lord God granted His Wisdom along with health, sharp memory power and an interest in studies to my dull children. I was also healed from the persistent cough and cold occurring every month. Praise and Glorify the Divine Healer.

·        With a few devotees of Christ, my wife and I knocked on KLWC in distress over laden with the sorrow of my daughter who was unconscious for the past 1 year. Refuge in all sources of treatments and superstitious methods proved futile which resulted in depletion of money and gloomy memories. The Truth, Power, Love and Peace, Comfort abiding in KLWC overwhelmed us. Listening to the Word of God we realized the darkness surrounded in our lives and began to pour out tears, pleading for His Mercy.  Transformation began to occur in our life style and Lord enabled my daughter to regain life.   Today my daughter is able to move around with support. I praise and thank the Almighty Lord who has invited us to His righteousness through the sickness of our daughter.
