PSALMS 36

THE WICKEDNESS OF MEN
Sin speaks to the wicked man deep in his heart ;
He rejects God and has no reverence for Him.
Because he thinks so highly of himself,
he thinks that God will not discover his sin and condemn it.
His speech is wicked and full of lies;
He no longer does what is wise and good.
He makes evil plans as he lies in bed;
Nothing he does is good and he never rejects anything evil.

The goodness of God
Lord your constant love reaches the heavens;
Your faithfulness extends to the skies.
Your righteousness is towering like the mountains;
Your justice is like the depth of the sea.
Men and animals are in your care.

How precious, O! God, is your constant love!
We find protection under the shadow of your wings.
We feast on the abundant food you provide;
You let us drink from the river of your goodness.
You are the source of all life,
and because of your light we see the light.

Continue to love those who know you
And to do good to those who are righteous.
Do not let proud men attack me
Or wicked men make me run away.

See where evil men have fallen
There they lie, unable to rise.

THE FIRST LETTER FROM ST. PETER

A LIVING HOPE

A voice cries out, “Proclaim a message-“What message shall I proclaim?” I asked. “Proclaim that all mankind are like grass, they last no longer than wild flowers.” (Isaiah 40 : 6)

Let us give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! Because of His great mercy, He gave us new life by raising Jesus Christ from death.  This fills us with a living hope, and so we look forward to possessing the rich blessings that God keeps for his people.  He keeps them for you in heaven where they cannot decay or spoil or fade away.  They are for you, who through faith are kept safe by God’s power for the salvation which is ready to be revealed at the end of time.

Be glad about this, even though it may now be necessary for you to be sad for a while, because of the many kinds of trials you suffer.  There purpose is to prove that your faith is genuine.  Even gold, which can be destroyed is tested by fire and so your faith, which is much more precious than gold must also be tested, so that it may endure.  They you will receive praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed.  You love him although you have not seen him, and you believe in him, although you do not now see him.  So you rejoice with a great and glorious joy which words cannot express, because you are receiving the salvation of your souls which is the purpose of your faith in him.

It was concerning this salvation that the prophets made careful search and investigations and they prophesied about this gift which God would give you.  They tried to find out when the time would be and how it would come.  This was the time to which Christ’s Spirit in them was pointing in predicting the sufferings that Christ would have to endure and the glory that would follow.  God revealed to these prophets that their work was not for their own benefit, but for yours as they spoke about those things which you have now heard from the messengers who announce the good news by the power of the Holy Spirit sent from heaven.  These are things which even the angels would like to understand.

So then have your minds ready for action.  Keep alert and set your hope completely on the blessings which will be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.  Be obedient to God and do not allow your lives to be shaped by those who desires you had when you were still ignorant. Instead be holy in all that you do just as God who called you is holy.  The scripture says, “Be holy because I am holy.”
You call him Father, when you pray to God who judges all people by the same standard according to what each one has done.  So then spend the rest of your lives here on earth in reverence for him.  For you know what was paid to set you free from the worthless manner of life handed down by your ancestors.  It was not something that can be destroyed such as silver or gold, it was the costly sacrifice of Christ who was like a lamb without defect or flaw.  He had been chosen by God before the creation of the world and was revealed in these last days for your sake.  Through him you believe in God who raised him from death and gave him glory, and so your faith and hope are fixed on God.

Now that by your obedience to the truth you have purified yourselves and have come to have a sincere love for your fellow believers, love one another earnestly with all your heart.  For through the living and eternal word of God you have been born again as the children of a parent who is immortal, not mortal.  As the scripture says, “All mankind are like grass, and all their glory is like wild flowers.  The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of the Lord remains forever.”  This word is the Good News that was proclaimed to you.
(1 Peter1:3-25)
This is the Word of the Lord

Thanks be to God.

GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
 The Holy Bible says, “When you are arrested and taken to court, do not worry beforehand about what you are going to say, when the time comes say whatever is then given to you. For the words you speak will not be yours they will come from the Holy Spirit”. (Mark 13:11)

COUNSEL

Prophet Isaiah visualizing our God proclaimed Him as a ‘Wonderful Counselor.’ (Isaiah 9:6)
The Gift of Counsel guides us with an appropriate Word of God amidst our trials and troubles of life. The one who exercises this gift can solve problems easily while revealing God’s plan.
“……..the Lord will bring to light the dark secrets and expose hidden purposes of peoples’ mind”. (1 Cor. 4:5)
God has wisdom, insight and power to act.

The Psalmist says. “God guides me and in the night my conscience warns me.” (Psalms 16:7). The plans that God makes are wise and they always succeed.

Those blessed with this gift stretch their hands out to God and remain close to God in every circumstance. God leads them by holding their hands. Whoever asks for the gift of counsel He guides them with instructions and at the end you will receive them with honor. He makes wise plans and does mighty things; He rewards His people according to their actions.

In the Book of Jeremiah, the Lord says “I alone know the plans I have for you. The plans to bring you prosperity.”
When we seek His goodwill with the help of this gift He reveals us His plans.
God our Father revealed His plan to Lord Jesus while praying in the garden of Gethsemane (refer. Luke 22:40-45).

Jesus the Wonderful Counselor said to His disciples, “The Holy Spirit will teach you everything and make you remember all that I have told you.” (John 14:26)

People could not catch Jesus Christ in anything because He gave them amazing answers.  God’s plans endure forever and His purposes last eternally.

The one who truly denies self whole-heartedly and follow the footstep of Lord Jesus by obeying His advice will not stumble because the Holy Spirit and His gifts work in him.

Mankind has freewill to refuse the plan of God, but it will destroy him and bring disasters.  If you seek His plan and wait to act patiently, you will flourish and succeed.

What happens if you disobey the law of God and live according to your own way?  “You will look for peace and will never find it.  One disaster will follow another and a steady stream of bad news will pour in. You will beg the prophets to reveal what they foresee.  The priest will have nothing to teach and elders will have no advice to give.” (Ezekiel 7:26)

God shows the path that leads to life and His presence through gifts and fruits fill us with everlasting joy.  His advices are eternal and unchangeable.  The one who asks His decision are obliged to obey reverently.  People who met the Lord in their lives have the pattern to seek His will in everything they do.  Our God is the Lord who answers His people.  It is a wise practice to submit our ideas and plans to His attention and seek the will of Lord in all worship.

Being still and waiting patiently for a few moments to listen to His voice is an awesome experience.
Gradually, you will be blessed with the gift of counsel.

Welcoming the Holy Spirit and opening your Holy Bible as per the Spirit’s inspiration is another way to grow in gift of counsel.  Be truthful to God even if the message is against your plans.  Human counsel may fail and disappear, but the one which comes from God will fulfill the purpose in it.

God says in the book of Isaiah 46:10, “……… from the beginning I predicted……… long ago I foretold……. I said that my plans would never fail, I would do what I intended.”
This is the reason behind why devotees fast and offer prayers and wait patiently so as to seek the Will of God prior to planning their decisions. The one who follows His decision is enabled with the gift of vision and he/she can lead others easily towards the Will of God.

The one who show contempt towards the gift of God can lose it as well as become a slave of darkness.

So faithful devotees of Christ, your negligence made you stumble or fall.  The Sovereign Lord says “Return to me”.  The Lord is always merciful to us, His own people.  Although He punishes us, even with disasters He never abandons us.  He is the source of all our blessings.  You are wise enough to understand what I mean here.  Take it to your heart.  The Lord’s ways are right and righteous people live by following them.

So let us consecrate all our plans to Him, who longs to communicate with you.  He will make you a good listener and it will be an important record of your spiritual walk with your Savior.

When you patiently allow Him to fondle you through the release of His Holy Spirit slowly you will be empowered and the gifts and fruits will bring marvelous changes in your world as Christ Jesus confidently blessed His followers……. “You will be my witness to the ends of the earth.”  (Acts 1:8)

GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

The Holy Bible says, “The hope does not disappoint us, for God has poured out His love into our hearts by means of the Holy Spirit, who is God’s gift to us.”           (Romans 5:5)

UNDERSTANDING
God gives the gift of understanding to reveal the inner sight of faith mysterious. It facilitates a person to grasp and trust in the Word of God and to lead a life in union with Christ Jesus. Whoever regularly studies and meditates the Word of God can obtain the gift of Understanding.
Lord Jesus was filled with the gift of Understanding from childhood. At the age of 12, during the Festival, Jesus was with the Jewish Teachers, listening to them and asking questions, proves it. “All who heard Him were amazed at His intelligent answers.” (Luke 2:47)
After the death of Jesus, on their way to Emmaus, the disciples of Jesus Christ were sharing the events of His death. Then He appeared amidst them and comforted them. He gave them the power to understand the mysteries. They said to each other, “Wasn’t it like a fire burning in us when He talked to us.”
(Luke 24:32)
St. Paul too was gifted with understanding which enabled him to explain deeply the Passion of Christ and the hope brought by The Resurrection.  His description about the marital relationship also proved the depth of his insight of the mysteries.
The explanation of the submission of a husband and wife compared to that of Christ who gave His life in submission towards His Love for the Church. (Ephesians 5:24-25)
Let us therefore wish and try to gain understanding which can deepen the faith in love of God and to obtain a lovable nature. Let us accept all creations of God as how He visualizes it- with no discrimination or indifference.
Since it is Holy and bestowed from heaven a selfless attitude is very essential to achieve the Gift of Understanding. No intellectual effort can achieve it. As the Scriptures says that the world’s wisdom or any other qualities cannot know the understanding of God.
“A person’s thoughts are like water in a deep well, but someone with insight can draw them out.” (Proverbs. 20:5)
It provides good knowledge of praise and gives courage to do good in life.
Whoever is intelligent can receive the mysteries of truth, which produces joy and cheerfulness to the mind and reminds us of the protection and constant love of God. It imparts confidence and determination to obey the Law of God.

Understanding grants us to have peaceful, long prosperous life in union with Christ and inspires us to seek the knowledge of God.
A person who is blessed with the Gift of Understanding can truly confess that Jesus is the Only Redeemer and that God has accepted us as His children and believe that we belong to Him.
An anointed person can undoubtedly trust the meaning of the Word of God and believe it easily.
For e.g. “Where two or three comes together in My name I am there with them.” (Matt.18:20) The blessed person can firmly feel the presence of the Lord while confessing the Word of God.

St John in his letter gives us a better knowledge regarding it. “We know that no child of God keeps on sinning, for the Son of God keeps him safe and the evil one cannot harm him. We know that we belong to God even though the whole world is under the rule of the evil one. We know that the Son of God has come and given us understanding, so that we know the true God. We live in union with true God- in union with His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and this is eternal life.” (1 John 5:18-20).
The above verses teaches us that the knowledge of Eternal life which we gain through the gift of understanding.

Dear devotees of True God, let us keep ourselves safe from deceivers who bring misleading understanding.

GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
 The Holy Bible says, “The hope does not disappoint us, for God has poured out His love into our hearts by means of the Holy Spirit, who is God’s gift to us.” (Romans 5:5)

WISDOM
                                                           … (continued)
Wisdom of God is holy and innocent, which obtains peace and brings others to peace.  It is full of truth and humbleness.
“The wisdom from above is pure first of all; it is also peaceful, gentle and friendly; it is full of compassion and produces a harvest of good deeds; it is free from prejudice and hypocrisy.” (James 3:17) The one who receives this peace, these qualities abide in his life.

Wisdom clears doubts and chooses what is right.  It is sincere and faithful and creates a stern and steady mind.  Wisdom and courage move hand in hand.
Lord Jesus taught in the synagogue and those who heard him were amazed, “Where did he get such wisdom” they asked. (Matt 13 :54)
“……What kind of words are these?  With authority and power this man gives orders to the evils spirits, and they come out!”  (Luke 4: 36)  It proves that wisdom is full of authority and power.

The Almighty God allows hardships and sufferings which produces endurance which leads one to wisdom.  In Isaiah 48 : 10 the Lord says, “I have tested you in the fire of suffering, as silver is refined in a furnace.…….What I do is done for My own sake.”

St. Peter says “My dear friends do not be surprised at the painful test you are suffering as though something unusual were happening to you. (1 Pet 4:12)
Merciful and Sovereign Lord your wisdom protected Noah a righteous man and she guided him in his flimsy wooden boat.
Wisdom gave strength to Abraham a righteous man to obey God’s command, inspite of the love for his son.
Wisdom rescued her righteous servant Lot from danger.
Wisdom guided a righteous man Jacob through the right path and made him prosperous and victorious in his hard fight.
Wisdom rescued Joseph a righteous man who was sold into slavery. Without being abandoned she kept him safe and gave him eternal honor.
She once rescued an innocent and holy people from a nation of oppression.  She guided them in a miraculous journey and defended them.
Wisdom gives speech to those who could not speak.  She even causes babies to speak clearly.

So let us pray to the origin of wisdom, our Abba Father to grant the grace of righteousness so as to obtain this gracious gift through the name of Lord Jesus Christ.  Amen.

GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
 The Holy Bible says, “The hope does not disappoint us, for God has poured out His love into our hearts by means of the Holy Spirit, who is God’s gift to us.”(Romans 5:5)
WISDOM
The Spirit of the Lord blesses us with the gift of wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety and fear of Lord.
Wisdom is the foremost gift which though similar to knowledge is different.
Knowledge is the gift to know the truth and is connected with all other gifts while wisdom enables us to experience the truth and its togetherness.
For example, the knowledge of honey may give you an idea of what it is, but taste an ounce of honey once; then you truly know what it is.  Similarly, with the gift of wisdom one can directly experience the presence of God.
Moses had experienced the presence of God and through Moses people came to know about God.  The gift of wisdom pours out the burning love of God and it brightens us with cheerfulness.  As the sun’s rays give light and heat, heavenly wisdom enlightens the knowledge of God and his creation.  It showers the joy and warmth of His love in our mind.
Apostle John shouts out about the love of God because he was blessed with holy wisdom.  St. Thomas Aquinas in his poem undoubtedly explains the wisdom of God.  The one who achieves it can grasp the mysterious truth that is even beyond his understanding and is free from death as he accepts it happily.
No worldly passions are attracted and exercising it brings uneasiness and discomfort.
Lust and gluttony, bad attitudes, bad company will not make a person blessed with wisdom happy.  The holy wisdom leads a person to the true fact that the passions, pride and worldly knowledge will be perishable and work for it is merely in vain.
The heavenly wisdom makes a person grow towards the fruits of spirit especially self control, humility and joy.  Hard-work, hardships and carrying out penance draws his attention.
Heavenly wisdom reveals the truth that Lord Jesus went through great agony and bitter passion for my sake and for the sake of human race, and it is my duty/ obligation to accept sufferings and pain for the love of Lord Jesus.
The one who is blessed with wisdom can analyze the events of his life which eventually leads him closer to the teachings of Lord Jesus.  A man who fears the Lord is worthy of the gift of heavenly wisdom.  It is more profitable than silver and more worth than gold, also more valuable than jewels.  Wisdom offers you long life as well as wealth and honor.  Similarly it can make your life more pleasant and lead you safely on your way and never even stumble.
The Holy Bible says never to ignore wisdom.   Do not abandon wisdom.  She will protect you.  Love her and she will keep you safe and she will be your crowning glory.  (Proverbs 4)

The one who faithfully obeys and follows the laws and rights of God can easily obtain true wisdom.  “Is there anyone among you who is wise and understanding? He is to prove it by his good life, by his good deeds performed with humility and wisdom.”
(James 3:13)
To gain insight, knowledge, sound judgment, one must honor the Lord and hate evil, pride and arrogance.  The word of wisdom created all and poured out immeasurable way of His wisdom to all who loved him. Daniel, King David, Joseph, Ezra, etc. etc. were graciously blessed with gift of wisdom.  The Holy Bible says the child Jesus grew and became strong.  He was full of wisdom and God’s blessings were upon him.
(Luke 2:14)
Wisdom reigns with the Almighty God.
King Solomon had only asked for God’s wisdom and he was given it. Sincerity and faithfulness are required to obtain wisdom.
King David also prayed for wisdom (Psalm 51).
Apostle James instructs us that whoever lacks God’s wisdom should pray to God and the Generous and Gracious God will provide it.

RIGHT WITH GOD

“Now that we have been put right with God, through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. He has brought us by faith into this experience of God’s grace, in which we now live. And so we boast of the hope we have of sharing God’s glory! We also boast of our troubles, because we know trouble produces endurance, endurance brings God’s approval, and His approval creates hope. This hope does not disappoint us, for God has poured out His love into our hearts by means of the Holy Spirit, who is God’s gift to us.

For when we were still helpless, Christ died for the wicked at the time that God chose. It is a difficult thing for someone to die for a righteous person. It may even be that someone might dare to die for a good person. But God has shown us how much He loves us – it was while we were still sinners that Christ died for us! By His sacrificial death we are now put right with God; how much more, then, will we be saved by Him from God’s anger!

We were God’s enemies, but He has made us His friends through the death of His Son. Now that we are God’s friends, how much more will we be saved by Christ’s life! But that is not all; we rejoice because of what God has done through Lord Jesus Christ, who has now made us God’s friends.  (Romans 5:1-11)

PSALMS 111

In Praise of the Lord

With all my heart I will thank the Lord
in the assembly of his people.
How wonderful are the things the Lord does!
All who are delighted with them want to understand them.
All He does is full of honor and majesty;
His righteousness is eternal.

The Lord does not let us forget his wonderful actions;
He is kind and merciful.
He provides food for those who honor him;
He never forgets his covenant.
He has shown his power to his people
by giving them the lands of foreigners.

In all He does He is faithful and just;
all His commands are dependable.
They last for all time;
They were given in truth and righteousness.
He set his people free
and made an eternal covenant with them.
Holy and mighty is He!
The way to become wise is to honor the Lord;
He gives sound judgment to all who
obey his commands.
He is to be praised for ever.

A READING FROM THE BOOK OF REVELATION TO JOHN

THE WOMAN AND THE DRAGON

Then a great and mysterious sight appeared in the sky. There was a woman, whose dress was the sun and who had the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head.  She was soon to give birth, and the pains and sufferings of childbirth made her cry out.

Another mysterious sight appeared in the sky. There was a huge red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and a crown on each of his heads.  With his tail he dragged a third of the stars out of the sky and threw them down to the earth.  He stood in front of the woman, in order to eat her child as soon as it was born.  Then she gave birth to a son, who will rule over all nations with an iron rod.   But the child was snatched away and taken to God and his throne.  The woman fled to the desert, to a place God had prepared for her, where she will be taken care of for 1,260 days.

Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and the angles fought against the dragon, who fought back with his angels; but the dragon was defeated, and he and his angels were not allowed to stay in heaven any longer. The huge dragon was thrown out – that ancient serpent called the Devil, or Satan, that deceived the whole world.  He was thrown down to earth, and all his angels with him.

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven saying, “Now God’s salvation has come! Now God has shown His power as King!  Now His Messiah has shown His authority!  For the one who stood before our God and accused our brothers day and night has been thrown out of heaven.  Our brothers won the victory over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the truth which they proclaimed; and they were willing to give up their lives and die.  And so be glad, you heavens, and all you that live there!  But how terrible for the earth and the sea!  For the Devil has come down to you, and he is filled with rage, because he knows that he has only a little time left.”

When the dragon realized that he had been thrown down to the earth, he began to pursue the woman who had given birth to the boy.  She was given the two wings of a large eagle in order to fly to her place in the desert, where she will be taken care of for three and a half years, safe from the dragon’s attack.  And then from his mouth the dragon poured out a flood of water after the woman, so that it would carry her away.

But the earth helped the woman; it opened its mouth and swallowed the water that had come from the dragon’s mouth. The dragon was furious with the woman and went off to fight against the rest of her descendants, all those who obey God’s commandments and are faithful to the truth revealed by Jesus.  And the dragon stood on the sea-shore. (Rev 12:1-18)

This is the Word of the Lord
Thanks be to God

ASSUMPTION OF BLESSED VIRGIN MARY

“Blessed is she who trusted that the Lord’s words to her would be fulfilled.”    (Luke 1:45)

Assumption of our Lady is a celebration emphasizing Mary’s resurrection and the exaltation of her body and soul to share in her Son’s glory.

 From the moment of her conception, Mother Mary was free of sins.  Archangel Gabriel recognized her as “full of grace”  “blessed among women” and “one with the Lord”!

Blessed Virgin Mary was conceived pure in body in order to carry the Son of God in her womb.

St. Gregory, the Great said that the heart of   St. Benedict expanded so much that all creation could enter it!! This is true for Mother Mary; Our Mother totally united with the Lord, has a heart so big that all creation can enter. Our Mother is awaiting us, to intercede for our sins, and attain us to heavenly glory. She is our Mother; she wishes all of us to be saved.

Mother Mary is very unique. Not only because she was born without original sin. Even Eve and Adam were born free of sin, but it didn’t stop them from sinning as soon as they had a chance!!  Mother Mary instead chose with help of God’s Grace to preserve her God given purity throughout the whole of her holy life.

 Mother Mary’s Assumption completed God’s work in her since it was not fitting that the flesh that had given life to Jesus, God’s only son, should ever undergo worldly death.

Assumption is God’s crowning of His work as Mother Mary ends her earthly life and enters eternity.

Mother Mary, help me to be obedient to God’s will just as you surrendered yourself completely to thy divine plan.
Mother Mary, pray for us sinners!

LIFE IN HOLY SPIRIT

PART IX

The Holy Bible says, “The Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22)

Humility & self-control

The Prophet Zechariah jubilantly proclaimed about the future King – Christ the Messiah. “Look your King is coming to you!  He comes triumphant and victorious, but humble and riding on a donkey.”     (Zech. 9 :9)

Lord Jesus said, “Happy are those who are humble, they will receive what God has promised.” (Matt 5:5)

Mother Mary sang the hymn of praise to God when He was pleased with her loyalty.  Lord Jesus comforts us saying, “Come to me all of you …… I am gentle and humble in spirit and you will find rest.”

Pure wisdom produces the fruit of humility.  The anointed apostles were skilled with humility and they even instructed their followers to practice humility and gentleness.

St. Paul says, “We were gentle when we were with you like a mother taking care of her children.”
The manner in which with great sacrifice they took care of their virtues is also a lesson for us.  Paul wants his fellow workers not to speak evil of anyone but to be peaceful and friendly always to show a gentle attitude towards everyone.  Be always humble, gentle and patient.  Show your love being tolerant with one another.  (Eph. 4:2)

God pours out His marvelous blessings on those who own humbleness.  King David says, ‘God defends the right of helpless and they may prosper forever.  God honors the humble with victory and remembers always the loyal servants.  He lifted up the lowly and filled the hungry with good things.”

Take your part in suffering as a loyal soldier of Christ.  A soldier on active service wants to please his commanding officer.  Similarly, one who carries his hardship of life with a gentle attitude can obtain God’s blessings hidden it.

The Prophet Isaiah pronounced about the tolerance of King Jesus.  “He was treated harshly, but endured it humbly; He never said a word. Like a lamb about to be slaughtered, like a sheep about to be sheared, he never said a word.’ (Isaiah 53: 7)

For the Spirit that God has given us does not make us timid, instead His Spirit fills us with the power of love and self control.
So St. Paul reminds us to keep alive the gift that God gave you.  He calls the power of God as spirit of self control.  It has a good role to make you active and effective in your knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (2 Pet. 1:6).  One who is being born in the Holy Spirit has been gifted with the gift of self control.

Dear faithful ones in Christ, let’s understand the fact that God loves us, He helps us, but He will not force us.  The Lord always leads us but the devil always pushes us.  We can notice in the first book of Holy Bible God created man being of spirit, soul and body.  But through temptations the devil turned the man around body, soul and spirit. Here we can hear the cry of God our Creator. Then the Lord said, ‘I will not allow people to live forever.  They are mortal.’

So start seeking God! He can certainly anoint you and come back to Him earnestly by hearing His call for, ‘Return’.

Let us conclude this session with some testimonies:
Participating earnestly in KLWC prayer service I came to know about myself, enabling me to abandon my mistakes and accept the cross of my daily life whole heartedly. No sooner had I received the faith to put my refuge in the care and concern of my Lord, my husband was blessed with a better job with more facilities. I glorify the Lord!! By granting a better job to him, Lord imparted more satisfaction to me! Through another miracle God revealed that if we share the difficulties of life with more mutual understanding, then family life will be far more content. As far as Christian family and community are concerned, sharing the burden, developing care and concern for one another by uprooting the roots of selfish motives, increases the luster of true faith. Through KLWC service Lord Rises up to the fullness of His glory, definitely imparting comfort to people and it gives immense joy to share the burden of this service.  I thank and praise the Almighty and Loving God.  May His Name be blessed forever. Alleluia!!

              *******************************************************************
“Refrain from anger and forsake wrath, do not fret it leads only to evil.” (Ps.37:8)
Immense anger and sorrow surrounded me always.  On 19/5/1996 when I attended the KLWC prayer service, the discomforts which troubled my mind for many years began to fall off one by one when the anointed persons began the praise and worship.   Within 5-10 minutes of worship, my hatred, anger and sorrow deep within vanished away.  I began to experience great joy, peace and patience.  I realized the truth that  when I had only sat along with the people who were praising God such miracles were performed, then how much blessings will be given to those who themselves praise God.  This thought led me to follow a life of praise. I glorify the Highest Name of God.

                                 *****************************************************
In the month of August 1994, I was struck with acute back ache and advised bed rest, so we moved to my mother’s village with an intention to get better care. My mother, who knew about the KLWC prayer services, dialed them to drop a petition as my pain had severely increased. On their instructions, I was brought to the prayer ground. On reaching the vicinity itself, I could feel a new strength within me. When Respected Sister approached and asked me to praise the name of Jesus, while placing her hands on my head. That spur of moment, I felt the touch of Jesus and forgot everything. All I heard then was a voice asking me to get up and walk in the name of Jesus. I obeyed it!!  Those standing around me began to praise and rejoice in the Lord.  All my pain, numbness of my leg, pulling of nerves, and stiffness of my body all vanished away.  The joy within me began to flow out as drops of tears.  Along with many others I too began pour gratitude and happiness to glorify the Lord.  Alleluia! I exalt your Mighty Name!  Indeed unexplainable was the joy and contentment of my relatives and all those who had seen me sick in bed.  I am a witness of the truth that the Lord Jesus is alive and active even today.  Through me many are given opportunity to come to the real faith and receive blessings through this service.  Glory to God!  Today in the Name of Jesus with great courage, the Lord enables me to lead those who are sorrowful, troubled and oppressed to this prayer service as a servant of peace.  Praise the Lord.  I offer bountiful praises and gratitude to my Lord for this Mighty Grace and believe that the Holy Spirit strengthens us to lead a sinless life. The Lord enables me to forgive everything and also to love everyone.  Anger, hatred, laziness, pride all other such bad habits have departed and I am able to pray for others.  I learnt a truth; it is the famine of Word of God, which puts us into distress.  Abandon laziness and come to this cool shade of power of Living Word which has been prepared and set out for each one.  Praise the Lord!  Alleluia.
“Leave all your worries with Him, because He cares for you.  Be alert! Be on watch! ... Humble yourself then under God’s mighty hand so that He will lift you up in His own good time” (1 Peter)
