GOSPEL ACCORDING TO ST. JOHN

THE WORLD’S HATRED

“If the world hates you, just remember that it has hated Me first.  If you belonged to the world, then the world would love you as its own.  But I choose you from this world, and you do not belong to it; that is why the world hates you.  Remember what I told you: ‘No slave is greater than his master.’  If they persecuted Me, they will persecute you too; if they obeyed My teaching, they will obey yours too.  But they will do all this to you because you are Mine; for they do not know the One who sent Me.  They would not have been guilty of sin if I had not come and spoken to them; as it is, they no longer have any excuse for their sin.  Whoever hates me, hates my Father also.  They would not have been guilty of sin, if I had not done among them the things that no one else ever did; as it is, they have seen what I did, and they hate, both Me and my Father. This however, was bound to happen so that what is written in their Law may come true: ‘They hated me for no reason at all.’

The Helper will come – the Spirit, who reveals the truth about God and who comes from the Father.  I will send Him to you from the Father and He will speak about me. And you, too, will speak about me, because you have been with me from the very beginning.”

(John 15 :18 -27)

This is the Word of the Lord
                                                     Thanks be to God!

VALOR OF VITAL TIDINGS
Part II

The Bible says, “But have reverence for Christ in your hearts, and honor Him as Lord.”     (1 Pet.3:15)

There are many who based on human strength promises and try hard not to fall into evil deeds but are unsuccessful. Such persons  will be successful in their hard work only when they are anointed by the Holy Spirit.

It is for a reason, that St. Paul states, “Physical exercise has some value, but spiritual exercise is valuable in every way because it promises life both for the present and for the future. (1Tim.4:8)

Many approach me with a common doubt that “once after experiencing the Holy Spirit vividly and then if we fall down it is said that thereafter it is difficult to lead ourselves to repentance once again"

Dear Readers, you too may be at times troubled by the same miserable state of life. Do not be disheartened!

There may be numerous instances when we tumble down but with great care you have to protect this precious treasure because if it is lost it is difficult to regain it.

The Bible says,“You are always resisting the Holy Spirit.(Acts.7:51)

Again it is mentioned “Do not grieve the Holy Spirit.” (Eph. 4:30)

God the Father does not send His Spirit on one who has the habit of arguing and justifying his wrong doings. Holy Spirit abides in a heart of humility.

“But the grace that God gives is even stronger. As the Scripture says, “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” (James 4:6)

Since the Spirit is the power of God-who is full of love and truth.

“…….because I am gentle and humble in spirit.” (Matt. 11:29)

So even after we receive the Holy Spirit, if we lead a life against the Will of God, we are guilty of grieving the Holy Spirit.

Whoever wishes to abide in the Holy Spirit and wish to lead a prosperous life, ought to keep themselves free from pride and justification nature.

“So we beg you, our brothers, to do even more. Make it your aim to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to earn your own living, just as we told you before.” (1 Thess. 4:10-11)

Again the Holy Bible instructs, “In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we command these people and warn them to lead orderly and work to earn their own living.” (2 Thess. 3:12)

When we continuously interfere and accuse others, we tend to lose the peace within us and make others sad.

“This is how the birth of Jesus Christ took place. His mother Mary was engaged to Joseph, but before they were married, she found out she was going to have a baby by the Holy Spirit.  Joseph was a man who always did what was right, but he did not want to disgrace Mary publicly; so he made plans to break the engagement privately.” (Matt 1:18-19)

Taking a right decision Joseph saved Mary from public disgrace and he too was right in God’s sight.

“For how can those who abandon their faith be brought back to repent again? They were once in God’s light; they tasted heaven’s gift and received their share of Holy Spirit; they knew from experience that God’s word is good, and they had felt the powers of the coming age. And then they abandoned their faith! It is impossible to bring them back to repent again, because they are again crucifying the Son of God and exposing Him to public shame.” (Heb. 6:4-6)

In Greek the word ‘impossible’ translates to ‘adunatos’; which means very very difficult. Though you have grieved the Holy Spirit, you may still have a chance to receive it but the probability of you grieving the Spirit and moving away from it is even more.

Anger and hatred has a main role in grieving the Holy Spirit.

How can we protect the Holy Spirit?

I feel it would be appropriate to share few of my instances from my experience to you all.

When we pray fervently the Holy Spirit descends to being union with our own spirit.

The fuel burns to ashes releasing gas which pushes the rocket, so to overcome the gravitational pull and ascend upwards. The fuel region burns off completely releasing the rocket into space.
Similarly, in the fire of the Holy Spirit our bodily desires and sins begin to burn and reduce to ashes when we praise God. By overcoming the gravitational net of worldly passions, we have to ascend to the height of goodness and purity, enabling us to see divine visions. Then we are filled with the glory of God and gain hope. At times you feel being lifted up to heaven. This is definitely a divine experience.

Dear faithful ones, if you accept Jesus, as your personal Lord and Savior and honor and Praise Him willingly, we will be granted with the strength to stand upright in trials and hardships in life.

Didn’t Jesus say, “The world will make you suffer, but be brave, I have defeated the world.”  (John 16:33)
Praise the Lord!

When you encounter trials, you may feel that it may completely destroy you.

In such moments, when our patience is tested, Lord speaks to us in silence-“Dear Child, will you abandon me? Wait in patience till I intervene.”

Hence with great faith and hope along with enduring patience, if we stay firm in prayer, devoid of depression, then this promise is surely at hand.

Always remember the enduring patience of those who led through the valley of tears and the divine blessings they received.

Lord does not give His Spirit by measure hence, we all have to be filled with it.

The Holy Bible says, “Do not get drunk with wine, which will only ruin you; instead be filled with the Spirit.” (Eph. 5:18)

Ask and you shall receive. So let’s ask Abba Father to fill us with His constant love, save us and give us the grace to seek and find Him- the eternal Truth.

‘Do not take away your Spirit from me in Jesus’ Name I pray!

VALOR OF VITAL TIDINGS

The Bible says, “But have reverence for Christ in your hearts, and honor Him as Lord.”
 (1 Pet.3:15)

“Then the Lord God took some soil from the ground and formed a man out of it; He breathed life-giving breath into his nostrils and the man began to live.” (Gen. 2 :7)

Three steps have been mentioned in the story of Creation.

Scooping some mud into His hands, God might have added His own blood to mold the soil to dough and finally shape man to his form.

Secondly, He breathed into the nostrils, the air of life, which can be His Spirit. The Scriptures often symbolize the Holy Spirit as breeze.

Thirdly, it mentions that man began living as a dissimilar individual unlike God’s other creations.

While our body is a shell connected to the worldly functions, the
Soul is the source of our will and emotions and often termed as self-conscious. It also has the power to feel, understands and helps in decisions.
Above all the spirit within us is the part that relates to God and His Will and imbibe in us the Consciousness of God.

Holy Bible instructs us that Holy Spirit is the right of all.

“I will pour out my Spirit on everyone. Your sons and daughters will proclaim my message. Your young men will see visions and your old men will have dreams.” (Acts 2:17)

At a very young age, due to the faith of parents, Christians receive Holy Spirit through the sacrament of Baptism. It is evident that the spirit resides in every Christian.

But we need to ponder over the fact that if at all any importance is given to the infilling and inspiration of the Holy Spirit as we advance in age! This thought requires consideration.

The Holy Bible instructs us that instead of being satisfied by merely receiving the initial fruits, it is essential to pray fervently for the infilling of the Holy Spirit that leads to further growth.

As mentioned in the Holy Bible – “Streams of life giving water will flow and he would be transformed into a person who fulfills the Will of God.

But, will the Lord sent His Holy Spirit on the Gentiles?

Bible clearly states that “He shall shower the Holy Spirit on one and all.”

In the preaching of St. Peter, we learn that the faithful were astonished by the outpour of the Holy Spirit on the Gentiles.

“As he was preaching, all the Gentile listeners began to praise God by being filled with His Holy Spirit.” (Acts. 10:44)

To witness numerous youth being filled with the Spirit and Praising God is indeed a celestial sight. The witness of few of the many who wrote their experiences is being published;

·        With a desire to know Jesus, I came along with my sister and took part in this prayer. When I lifted my hands in praise to God, streams of tears started flowing from my eyes. The immense peace and tranquility which filled my heart is indescribable. Similarly, when I lifted my hands, the feeling that God held my hands, imparts great comfort. Today, there is not a single day, when I don’t speak personally with my Lord. Hearing the Word of God inspires me to rectify my errors and assist me to correct them, by leaving aside pain and sacrifice. Today, by the grace of God, I have been able to lead many to Jesus. Praise the Lord!

·        During prayer, I could feel the presence of Lord in the group and great joy and bountiful peace filled my heart. Lord Jesus banished my worries, tiredness and sleepiness and blessed me with the concentration which I lacked. Physical and mental strength, confidence and new hope overcame the weariness and gloominess in me.

·        During the praise, I received spiritual strength. In a vision the Lord showed me the Holy Bruises on His Body which was unbearable for me and tears began to flow. The experience made me a bright and cheerful person and enabled me to forgive everyone in His name. I gave all my hurt feelings to Lord and He filled me with His Mighty Power. I can assure you that Lord loves and glorifies the youth.

·        During the prayer, I was hesitant to lift my hands in praise. In a vision I saw Jesus walking and blessing everyone in our midst. A great light appeared and the whole place was shaken. Tears began to flow, my heart became light and I was blessed with the Gift of Praise and my faith increased in folds.

·        Fear of life ceased while praying. I was strengthened mentally, physically and spiritually during the Word of God. I was blessed with a vision in which I saw Jesus walking ahead and we all youth following Him. Praise the Lord.

·        Generally at the approach of exams, I was held captive by various illnesses like high fever, breathlessness and body swelling and often resulted in failure. Attending the youth prayer, I was gifted with Spiritual strength and Lord found me worthy to be anointed with His Holy Spirit and healed me from all my physical ailments. He inspired me to face my exams courageously. Thank You Lord! Praise You Lord!

·        I was attracted to the Prayer by the LWE 2000, magazine. Though being lazy and back in studies, good Lord granted astonishing results.

·        Having experienced many blessings, I began to move away from Lord. Unbearable backache again brought me to the prayer. The Lord called by my name and healed me. Again when I began to stray from my Lord, I was unable to eat anything properly. In my distress I reached out to the Lord on a Saturday prayer and again He called out my name and healed me. I glorify my Lord who follows me and endows me with Fatherly Love. Praise the Lord!

That day not a single person was left who had not experienced the Glory inherited from God by Jesus.  the Lord glorified all the 24 youth who had put aside their work and gathered together for prayer. It was an experience of the great Pentecost which would be etched in our memory. The Glorious Lord proved the depth of His love for the youth by fulfilling the promise of Holy Spirit.
Thus concluded a holiday which was spent blessed in the Lord’s presence in a fruitful manner.
--Published on June 1995, LWE 2000

We grieve the Holy Spirit that we have received by accepting the inspiration of sin, evil habits and selfish motives. We reject the advice of the Holy Spirit.

God protects us in His Divine Hand, yet we who enjoy His Protection, despises His very existence. It would be just like that of a child who lay safely in the womb of his mother, but mentions that there is no mother.
This is something that hurts our loving Father very deeply. Hence we ought to repent if we have grieved the Holy Spirit.

When King David was enslaved to his bodily desires, he lost his spiritual joy. In repentance he cried out to God:                     (Psalms 51:11)

“Lord, do not banish me from Your Presence;
Do not take away Your Holy Spirit from me.”

If sinful desires fear, depression and sorrows are hidden within us, then definitely we are not within the reign of the Holy Spirit. Instead we are in the ruled by the evil spirit which offer us only with momentary joy followed by sadness and fear.

It is our duty to protect the Holy Spirit by praying unceasingly and become submissive to His will by offering our life to God.

Through prayer and spiritual hard work, each one will be able to withdraw from evil deeds and progress towards the Holy Spirit.
This is meant by rebirth in Holy Spirit.

We all desire to do well but at times our deeds take a bad turn, which we ourselves despise. It is possible to gain victory in our deeds with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Heavenly Father Himself is the one who provides this gift in abundance to all who ask Him. Therefore, Rejoice in Him!

A CALL TO Repentance

The Holy Bible says, “When anyone is joined to Christ, he is a new being; the old is gone, the new has come.” (2 Cor. 5:17)

In the beginning, God created the universe, and He looked at everything He had made and He was very pleased.                                              (Genesis 1:1-31)

Then a war broke out in Heaven. Michael and His Angels fought against the dragon that disobeyed and dishonored God. The dragon was defeated. He and his companions lost their place in heaven and were not allowed in any longer.

The huge dragon was thrown out (i.e.) ancient serpent called the devil or satan that deceived the whole world. (Rev 12)

“The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy.”  (John 10:10)

That’s how the vices entered the world and it has become the pathetic state, as what it is today. Disobedience, grudge, hatred and all evil some seeped into the human race.

“Because those people refuse to keep in mind the true knowledge about God, He has given them over to corrupted minds, so that they do the things that they should not do. They are filled with all kinds of wickedness, evil, greed and vice; they are full of jealousy, murder, fighting, deceit and malice. They gossip and speak evil of one another; they are hateful to God, insolent, proud and boastful; they think of more ways to do evil; they disobey their parents; they have no conscience; they do not keep their promises, and they show no kindness or pity for others. They know that God’s law says that people who live in this way deserve death. Yet, not only do they continue to do these very things, but they even approve of others who do them.” (Romans 1: 28-32)

The above scripture from the Holy Bible shows us a clear picture of the ancient, diseased world that did not have the knowledge of Lord Jesus the Savior. If this is how the Holy Bible described the ancient world, how do we describe the current state of this world?

Media and our environment draws a image of the world we live in and we can definitely call it as much more dreaded and diseased place which rejects the Savior Jesus Christ and His plan of Salvation.

God created Man with perfect health and divine loving form in unique relation with soul, mind and body.

But today, it’s sad to mention that he is living as a deadly creature merely enslaved to the deceased world.

Can we please turn our ears to the universe? You and I can hear a groaning voice of the world. Yes, the world is groaning…… she is wounded, weak; her heart is bursting and breaking with pus pouring wounds all over. Her skin all eaten up and cannot resist anymore.

Still her pride announces, “I am smart enough. I can destroy and kill all the truth holders.”  She is still challenging. Her pride and ego goes before her deepest fall.

This is the state of the deadly dragon today.

The one who believes in Lord Jesus and sacrifices his life for The Lord are accounted as weak and foolish in the eyes of the world.

It is correctly mentioned in the Holy Bible that God purposely chose the weak and common people for Him.

“God purposely chose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise and he chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the powerful. He chose what the world looks down on and despises and thinks is nothing, in order to destroy what the world thinks is important. (1 Cor. 1:27-28)

“Someone is shouting in the desert: Get the road ready for the Lord; make a straight path for him to travel! Every valley must be filled up, every hill and mountain leveled off. The winding roads must be made straight, and the rough paths made smooth. All mankind will see God’s salvation!”  (Luke 3: 4-6)

Since we ourselves brought the present condition of our life, the Holy Bible says, “Just as you were the one determined to turn away from God, now turn back and serve Him with ten times more determination.” (Baruch)
The one who brought these calamities upon you will rescue and bring you everlasting joy.
So let us prepare the way for the King and make a humble and contrite heart to obey and live in Him as per His Way.

The Way is none other than REPENTANCE.

This gift from God is truly the work of the Holy Spirit. Though we turned back from the Lord, He is still ready to assist us. When we take the name of the eternal God and praise Him, we are filled with His Loving Kindness.

The kindness and compassion from the Holy Spirit takes us to the way, to examine our conscience before the Lord. The Divine Spirit inspires us to humble ourselves so as to lead us to the grace of repentance, by pleading for forgiveness along with us.

This enables Lord Jesus to act quickly to bring changes in our life, which is impossible for us to do without his Divine help.

We are unable to see the objects and dust in a room unless there is light. Similarly, this is what happens. We are unable to see the engulfed darkness of our heart unless we let in the ray of God’s light in it.

“Let there be light and then light appeared.” Alleluia

With this light God was pleased and he separated the light from the darkness. And with is light we can see the misery of our heart.

Let’s peep through our heart.

Whoever has tasted the eternal Love of God gets the grace to evaluate their life.

The one who is anointed by God’s Love prefers, as the Holy Bible mentions,
“He preferred to suffer with God’s people rather than to enjoy sin for a little while.” (Heb. 11:25)

Though the above phrase refers to Prophet Moses, it’s applicable to us too.

The selfishness and self centered method of life due to pride, to win the race you are after for fame and acceptance, neglecting and refusing God’s care and protection, as well as, disgracing and hurting God gifted well wishers,  brings its side effects in our life. We are soaked in numerous misfortunes, various illness, loneliness, self hatred, tiresome life, tremendous floating fears, insomnia, restlessness, stomach issues etc.and mental depression.

I too once lead a life measured  by the commandments. I was regular in my prayers and duties towards God. Since I did not trouble anyone there was no enemies, had no interest in gossips and made sure that grudge had no place in my heart. I was aware and fulfilled the duties towards my family, neighbors and relatives accordingly. Externally and Internally, I was free from sin against God and my people.

When my spinal bones were weak and decaying, I was advised bed rest. Medical report words were regurgitating. The last straw of hope of my future too was eaten up when I was insisted that a breakdown may happen anytime.

Those bedridden moments of pain and hopelessness were finely tuned by God into self examination moments. When the light of the Holy Spirit showered abundantly in me, I realized that my heart was full of cobwebs, which had to be cleaned thoroughly. The divine light toured me to every nook and corner of my heart, valley, mountains thorns and bushes and the rough and tough roads. I had loved my God as per the commandments but failed to realize that in every small sadness, anxieties, fear and worries made the Lord in me weak and I mistrust Him. Expecting the visit of my relatives during my crushed moments, and being disappointed, I filed numerous complaints to Lord in my mind against them, forgetting that it was His will to build me in His Plan. I was drawn into common fears, anxiety regarding the future of my two daughters, again forgetting that God has gifted me with the spirit of courage and that He is the provider of my life.

I realized that I had sinned truly against my God, myself and others. I began to confess that I am a great sinner and I had to out-rid it.

Thus when I sat and meditated the love of God, He poured out His love to me and made me clean and granted me a new heart and life.

GLORIOUS GRACE

PART II

Lord, you are my God; I will honor you and praise Your name. You have done amazing things; You have faithfully carried out the plans You made long ago. (Isaiah 25:1)

We are born into this World with an innocent and pure heart. An infant is fully connected to bear the holy wisdom presented by the Creator. As we grow up, we pick up willingly or unwillingly certain characters from the adults around us and from nature.

By the time we reach the age of adolescence, we will be filled with a lot of negativism and false belief that are not from the Creator. This mostly leads us to the path of ill-mannered and unhygienic life pattern. Basically we know that there is a higher power that flows within us which guides and guards us to fortune. We seldom neglect, since it is cool and harmonial, due to lack of patience and pride.

Daily we read so much about disasters, flood, droughts, accidents, war between nations etc. As of now, we can observe that almost 75% of news brings us nothing except fear and sadness.

We have been blessed by the gracious Lord everyday with a new, bright and harmony life. It is very sad to say that even before looking into His Face and saying a simple word of gratitude, people rush into their daily routine. We spoil our days by disgracing ourselves. Disobeying brings our own disgrace.

No one can achieve success and prosperity by disobeying parents or elders. Then how much more will be the disgrace if one dishonors the Savior of his life?

So let us honor and obey the Almighty.

The Lord of wisdom advises us, to open our eyes towards the Divine views that can create a loving atmosphere which can gain health in body and mind to all.
So let us receive the total healing of our whole body by willingly letting go of the old negative way and creating harmony and cheerfulness by healthy thought and make sure that we are radiating harmony and love to universe.

Let us go through His comforting Love.

Sovereign Lord says, “My people will return weeping, praying as I lead them. I will guide them to streams of water on a smooth road where they will not stumble. Then the girls will dance and be happy. Men, young and old will rejoice. I will turn their mourning into joy, their sorrows into gladness.”

Praise God!!

The Bible is the Holy Book full of covenant. The relationships are too strong if you are willing to obey.

Why are we lacking peace, comfort, joy and prosperity etc?

That’s because we lack the glory and knowledge of our Creator, who sent us here with a good purpose.

“If only you had listened to My command then the blessing would have followed you like a stream that never runs dry”. Sovereign Lord says, “I offer peace to all both near and far! I will heal my people.”

The Father is aware of our present state, a sin loaded life; still he IS willing to pour His unconditional glorious grace upon us  to cleanse and make us worthy of His crown.

Yes Loving Father, I surrender to You, today with all my heart and soul. I open all the secret places of my heart to you, saying, “Lord, Come into it.”

I am weak and heavy -laden, I am truly sorry for my ignorance. Thank You for accepting and healing me. I love You Father. Hereafter, I will do my best to obey you and your commandments. In Lord Jesus’ name I pray. Amen!!

God the Father says:

“You are stain red with sin, but,
I will wash you as clean as snow;
Although your stains are deep red,
You will be white as wool.

I am the God who forgives You;
I do this, because  WHO I AM ,
I will not hold your sins against you.

I gave life to my people and I will
Not continue to accuse or be angry with them forever.
I am bringing the days of victory near;
It is not far away at all.

Sovereign Lord announces to Prophet Isaiah, “Here on the Mount Zion, I will prepare a banquet for all the nations of the world -a banquet of the richest food and finest wine.”

Let us bow down to the Lord who can destroy death forever. He is our perpetual comfort.

He is our strong fortress and protector. He will protect us like a shield and defend us, not only that, He will send His angels too and guard those who honor Him. Showers of His forgiving Love can set us free from many sickness and evil afflictions of our life.

By obeying His commandments, one can achieve a life in His chariot, live in  His love, fountain of everlasting blessing. Prayers will be enjoyable and answered. Enemy will be scattered.  A bright future and a new life will be yours, because Almighty God is your Father; Provider of all good things.
Shall we worship and adore Him together!

God of my Forgiver, God of my Comforter
God of my Good health and richness;
God of my strength and courage
God of my victory; God of my refuge;
God of my glory, God of my fortune, new life.
Amen!!

LIFE’S CLOCK

Lord Jesus answered them, “My Father is always working, and I too must work.” (John 5:17)

Lord Jesus explained to his people, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like this. Once there was a man who went out early in the morning to hire some men to work in his vineyard. He agreed to pay them the regular wage, a silver coin a day and sent them to work in the vineyard. He went out again to the market place at nine o’clock and saw some men standing there doing nothing, so he said to them, ‘You also go and work in the vineyard, and I will pay you a fair wage.’ So they went.

Then at twelve o’clock and again at three o’clock he did the same thing. It was nearly five o’clock when he went to the market place and saw some other men still standing there. “Why are you wasting the whole day here doing nothing?’ he asked them. ‘No one hired us,’ they answered. ‘Well, then, you also go and work in the vineyard,’ he told them. (Matt. 20:1-7)

In the above passage, we read some men standing, doing nothing at the market when the owner says to them, “You too go to my vineyard, I will pay you a fair wage.” Even today in this busy world we come across several such individuals.

The Holy Bible through St. Paul speaks to us,

“Our brothers, we command you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to keep away from all brothers who are living a lazy life and who do not follow the instructions that we gave them. You yourselves know very well that you should do just what we did. We were not lazy when we were with you. We did not accept anyone’s support without paying for it.

Instead we worked and toiled; we kept working day and night so as not to be an expense to any of you. We did this not because we have no right to demand our support; we did it to be an example for you to follow. While we were with you we used to say to you, “Whoever refuses to work is not allowed to eat. We say this because we hear that there are some people among you who live lazy lives and do nothing except meddle in other people’s business. In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ we command these people and warn them to lead orderly lives and work to earn their own living.” (2 Thess. 3: 5-12)

By not doing anything properly, some people keep merely interfering in all other’s work. Some without fulfilling duties and responsibilities towards their families interfere in community services. Such services can also be considered as part of their laziness.

“Lazy people are no better than dung; they are repulsive and like a stone submerged in dirt. (Sirach 22: 1-2)
One who touches it shakes his hand off to get rid of it.

The Bible again says, “A lazy person is as bad as someone who is destructive.”

Without desiring anything in return we ought to fulfill the responsibilities that God has commanded us in an orderly and disciplined way.  We also have to accept the pain and burden involved in it.

Some go out for services to deliberately stand aloof from the problems of their family. Such services, even though stated as service for God, the truth lies in the fact that Lord does not accept it. The distress and discontentment in such people undoubtedly proves the same.

St. Paul states that: “How can one who cannot take care of his own family take care of God’s community?”

Sometimes a lazy man can make others like a restless sea whose waves never stop rolling in, bringing in filth and muck.

Songs of Solomon sings, “I walked through the fields and vineyards of a lazy, stupid man. They were full of thorns, bushes and overgrown with weeds.” (Prov. 24:13)

If one individual in a family is lazy towards his/her duty, then that family can be compared to the above Word of God.

Lazy man finds an excuse for everything because, Book of Proverbs, again says, “Why doesn’t the lazy man ever get out of the house? What is he afraid of? Lions?  The lazy man turns over in bed. He gets no farther than a door swinging on its hinges. Some people are too lazy to put food into their own mouth. A lazy man will think he is more intelligent than seven men who can give good reasons for their opinions. ” (Prov. 26:14-18)

Let us give a thought to how active am I in my duty towards myself and my well-wishers.

Dear Readers, it is improper to waste time which is Lord’s gracious gift to us.

‘Not today…but tomorrow’ with this thought do not postpone all that you are supposed to do today.

The Bible says to us, “This is the hour to receive God’s favor, today is the day to be saved.”  (2 Cor. 6:2)

Let’s not hurt our Loving Father by wasting the blessed hours in speaking unwanted gossips, excuses or by doing useless deeds and being in wrong company of friends.

Lets us not forget the truth that those who have friendship with the world through gambling, bad books and films are only drifted apart from the blessings of God and moving towards the gate of the palace of destruction. We who are supposed to overcome these worldly vices by carrying the Word of God have instead gone astray. Some people sleep and spent most of their precious time. It is difficult to gain successful life without having a scheduled and disciplined life.

When  our worldly path gets modeled on the path of God, then not only our heart but also our family, our community and the entire universe gains life in proper and becomes a heavenly bliss filled city of Jerusalem.
We ourselves produce the iron bars, bricks cement and sand of this everlasting Kingdom of God.

Let us reduce to ashes the workshop of satan by fulfillment of the Holy Spirit.

Our lives and everything in it is a gift of God that contains full of  good responsibility to be active in this life.  If we desire to keep this gift then they have to be blessed everyday by the Giver. Lord never takes back the gifts and blessings that He has given to us but they will wear out if we fail to abide by the conditions.

There are many gifts which we forget in our life due to sheer laziness and ungratefulness. Lord takes them and keeps them safely!
Don’t we, as parents, take and keep our child’s belongings safely?
Later on, when they come in search of it and approach us with the sorrow and pain resulting in its loss, then we soon return it to them. The comfort and love that they derive at that moment is indescribable.

Dear One’s in Christ do not doubt! Let’s wind up the our laziness. The mind of a lazy man is the satan’s worship while the mind of a hard working individual is the workshop of God. Let’s choose the right one and start working hard to build it.

Let’s hurry and prove that we are the substantial candidate to receive His reward.

SO LET’S CLOCK!

The clock of life is wound but once
And no man has the power to tell
Just where the hands will stop.
At late or early hour.

To lose one’s wealth is sad indeed;
To lose one’s health is more;
To lose one’s soul is such a loss,
As no man can restore.

Present is our own.
Live, Love, Toil With a will
Place no faith in tomorrow
For the clock may then be still.
